A gem of a hotel in the beautiful Accademia area. This was one of the few hotels that had room for a last minute trip to Venice, and boy did we get lucky! The hotel itself is quaint with warm interiors, the room was very comfortable, newly renovated and much bigger than we expected, the breakfast was generous and the staff were absolutely lovely. The location is a huge plus — the hotel is located in a charming part of Venice, away from the crazy crowded areas, but well connected by public transport to the city centre (which is also accessible on foot if you would like a longish stroll). It’s a stone’s throw from the incredible Academia gallery, the Fortuny Museum and the Peggy Guggenheim collection. We would definitely come back here!

The location was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast were excellent.

We loved the location, easy access by taxi boat vaporetto etc…, very close to the bridge that takes you across the grand canal to walk toward Piazza San Marco. Yet, the location was quiet, which was a true bonus especially during Carnival. The concierges at the reception were truly helpful, answering my questions prior to arrival, and during our stay. The staff was very friendly, the breakfasts were delicious (for my husband), mor complicated for me who is gluten free but I brought my own cereals and managed just fine with yoghurt and fruits which they provided, along with great coffees and tea choices.

A bit more choices for gluten free folks, but I came prepared.

Great location less than 4 min from Accademia Bridge and vaporetta stop; quiet location; very clean, up to date, comfortable rooms; wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Absolutely perfect place to stay.

location was great, close to everything and just a 15 -20 min walk over the bridge to St.Marks Square. Breakfast was excellent , variety of options, and fresh every morning. Our initial room was big, but the a/c was not working well and had a musty smell, but we told management and they moved us to a different room that was fine to us.

The only think I could suggest is late night snacks , not a big deal, but just a suggestion.

Fantastic location for Alileguna arrival at Zattare and Vapareto at Academia bridge.. no steps! Air-con and wi-fi excellent. Breakfast varied in beautiful garden , roof terrace we used to eat gelato and ice water bought nearby. Mini shop selling water, masks, snacks 2 doors away. For gondola, we used the one by Academia Bridge. He took us past gondola factory and very quiet route. Would definitely stay again . Helpful staff printed museum and train tickets I bought on phone.

The lift was a bit quirky, small and slow. Sometimes it would only take 1 person, others 2! But grateful it was there and always worked !

Reception staff member went out of the way to help fix the issue with our booking. Superb breakfast. Fantastic location.

Nothing to fault.

This old but renovated hotel is centrally located in the older part of the city with easy access to water transport. Bathrooms clean and new. It has a beautiful courtyard where breakfast is served. Breakfast is excellent with lots of variety. The courtyard is also available for use for other meals. Staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating with information and answering email questions I had in advance. I would definitely stay here again

The hotel was in an excellent location, our room was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped and the breakfast was something to look forward to every morning. The staff were friendly and in general the hotel exceeded my expectations. We looked forward to returning for our daily siesta to escape the scorching August sun!

I had perfect days in Venice for 6days with staying this hotel. Every thing was perfect: clean, kind, nice position, and facilities. I want to visit here again with my family next year

always feel extremely ripped off in Venice, this was the first time, in the height of summer, that I felt value for money! I chose this hotel based on the price and not a single bad review! Great breakfast/outdoor dining, authentic simplistic rooms that are comfortable and clean, friendly staff, great location away from hustle & bustle but close enough to explore the sights and a lovely little balcony to sit and enjoy some wine!
