The pool area and beach in the evening for a drink and to watch the sun go down is lovely.
There wasn't always someone at reception.

The service is superb. The location is fantastic. Hotel is just 10 meters away from the water in high tide. They have a super clean pool. Good tasting food and very attentive waiters on their Mac restaurant. Across the hotel is 7/11, several local restaurants available, Atm and money changers are in the vicinity. They have laundry service available for an affordable and reasonable price. The receptions became my son’s best friend. They are so friendly and very accommodating and helpful. 10/10
For sure we will go back to Mac Resort. 100% highly recommend.

Right in the heart of white sand beach,
The room was comfortable and clean.
The aircon was good once it settled.
Shower was nice, but open windowed.
Food was nice, reasonably priced.
Didnt have a room with a any view, was on the side of hotel.
No safe in the room so had to hide valuables in other places.
Shower was with a big window, so if staying with a friend or family, they would be able to see you shower fully as the window was below waist line

The reception at the reception was under all criticism. And when I was checking out, I had to look for staff.

great location & beach front .
couple of cockroaches in the room. a few of the service staff were rude when we informed them that our bill was incorrect. also had no mini bar in the room so asked for some bottled water & was complete ignored.

The breakfast was value for money as it was included in our rate
I was allocated a very noisy room on the north side next to the kitchen of the next hotel. I had the same problem in December 2019

Staff were lovely and attentive to any requests. Great location!
Resort is very dated and needs a lot of work. Not the same as what is portrayed in booking.com. Beds are too hard. Some small crawlies under pillow when arrived Room needs to be sprayed. These are maintenance issues need to be addressed owner.

Location right by the beach
Staff as reception was not active or respond well, not seem friendly ,look missable. When I walk to check in she did not seem welcome ..no say hello ,no smile.
My daughter was sick all over the bed at night about 3am after eat food in the restaurant with food poison. I was waiting til 9 am and I asked reception to help change new bed cover so my daughter can go back to her bed as I let her stay all night on my bed together but the receipt did not respond well and ignore to change it, I have to keep go to reception 3 to 4 times as I was waiting over an hour no one come to do it , I asked help from 9 am but they did change bed sheet for me at 11 am!! I have to stay in the room with smell sick all night til 11 am. Useless staff when need help. They did not seem to care my daughter ,which she was poorly in the room ,no support.
Staff as the restaurant was good service but staff as reception was not friendly ,useless and missable.
The hotel picture look amazing but in real it did not look as good as picture.
The room not smell clean and many ants in the room and around my bed when I lying down in bed I feel ants climp up on my body and Blattodea insect walk around from the toilet made me feel not good.
