Everything was perfect. The apartment was very clean and it had all the comforts. The location is really close to the town's center. The owner is really helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this apartment.

Close to downtown area on a quiet residential street. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and had an amazing coffee machine that we made good use of. Sebastian the owner met us on our arrival and explained how everything worked. Several options for payment. I wished we could have stayed here longer. we will definitely try to book the apartment again when we return to Reykjavik.

We liked everything! Really, it was the best property I've ever stayed at so far (and I've been to 22 countries already). The apartment itself and its location are wonderful. Everything inside is very well equipped, it is brand new. The host has thought about every possible detail. It's clear that he cares a lot about his guests. We had everything we needed, from kitchenware to toiletries. There was a fridge, a microwave, a cookstove, a kettle, a dishwasher, a coffee machine - even some snacks and sauces. TV and WiFi were functioning, the whole apartment was very clean and comfortable. The heating can be regulated. The host, Sebastian, was very friendly and thoughtful, we were offered several possible ways of payment, late check-in (using the lockbox) and check-out, storing our luggage for free. He was always in touch and answered all our questions, gave us advice on sightseeing and other activities. One day, he even invited us to join him for snowboarding/skiing :) As for the location, it is several minutes walk from a bus stop City Hall and central streets, so it was also very convenient for us to explore the city and to take bus tours to some great locations outside of Reykjavik, including the Northern Lights tour, etc., etc. Thanks to all this, my wife and I enjoyed our stay in Iceland very much. It was a really nice week in Reykjavik, and I hope we will come back soon.

Certainly, it was not very cheap (it's Iceland after all), but we've seen many hostels (not even apartments!) at the same price in Reykjavik, and they don't offer such comfort that can be found here. There are also cheaper apartments, but they are far from the city center. I mean, you can find something cheaper and save some money, but the conditions will be definitely worse. The value/price here is really great, so I don't regret choosing this option and having this great experience.

Didn’t not like but recommend adding mat to first step as can be slippery with it being tiled. And coat hooks as no where to put winter coat.

This property has everything you need and is also reasonably priced and is in a great area only a short walk to the centre, I would definitely recommend!

The apartment overall ticked all of our boxes and our host Sebastian was very helpful and friendly. The location was ideal as it was only a short walk into the town centre and for what we got out of it the price was great! I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Reykjavik :)

Ive always wanted to stay in this part of Reykjavik old town and this was my ideal stay! you’re three mins walk from downtown and the harbour and with the bikes to get us around it made all of Reykjavic so accessible. it’s not often when you’re travelling you want to spend your evening in - Sebastian’s place had that appeal

The location was great, walking distance to everything. The host was very friendly and helpful, really went out of his way to help in any way. The apartment was also spotless. We felt very comfortable for the whole stay.

Nothing not to like.

Really can't fault anything about staying here - Sebastian does a great job. Stayed here in June and was so happy it was available when I decided to come back in September. Lots of info in my other review but basically, just a wonderful stay. Sebastian is very helpful and responsive to messages. The facilities are plentiful, the coffee machine especially is a great feature. Very clean and presentable and easy to find everything. Everything comfortable. Good location - slightly away from the main shopping street but close to things on the harbour and nothing is really very far away in Reykjavik so works well for me. Being close to Tommis Burgers and Deig coffee shop (excellent value drink, donut and bagel offer!) as well as 24 hr Nettó and regular Bonus shop just nearby too was a plus for me too. Basically, if you're considering staying here on your trip, it's highly recommended. When (not if) í return to Reykjavík í hope to be able to stay here again. Thanks Sebastian!

The apartment is in perfect location just 5 minutes from the central Reykjavik very close to super market and gas station. Very communicative host that was always available to answer our questions and gave us some local recommendations. The apartment is small and cute and has everything you need to prep some food and have a comfortable sleep.

The apartment is not at all sound-proof and the upstairs neighbours were quite loud early in the mornings (say 5am) so that kinda compromised the quality of our sleep. Here's an extra sentence to reach the minimum required number of characters.

The host was very friendly and helpful! Loved the location, the cleanliness (spotless!), the kitchen had everything I needed, bed was comfy, good wifi. Wil definately stay here again!

Nothing I didnt like!

Sebastian has a great place here - he was very helpful with questions prior to arrival and good in getting back to me when I had to change some aspects of my trip. On arrival I collected the keys from a lock box, but he had made it clear if there were any problems at all then he could be there very quickly so it was reassuring to know. The apartment was traditional but all modern facilities. I *really* appreciated the coffee machine, it was going to be first thing I was going to go out to get but it was waiting right there for me - it was perfect and well used my trip, with plenty of beans! If you get any red lights, check the water level and if the coffee ground waste is full as that'll prob be it :-) The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of power outlets, places to hang clothes, extra towels and tv/streaming facilties. There is also recycling which I was pleased about as well as hairdryer etc. There is an oven/microwave, kettle (as well as coffee machine) and any cooking materials you'd need and mini dishwasher too. I note other reviews mentioned noise from the flat above, but I think perhaps no one was there as I was not troubled by any noise. It is a quieter part of town, so not as much foot traffic as on the main street etc, but you should allow for the fact that door opens onto pavement so you will see/hear others then. But it also very easy to get to the main centre, and close to the harbour for things like whale watching and stuff on the old harbour area - so best of both worlds. I would 100% stay here again and recommend to others. Sebastian has a fantastic job for his guests and I was glad I picked this place and it was available. It added to an already unbelievable trip. Thank you.

This isn't any kind of deal breaker, but on arrival there was a little damp smell which I think was related to the bathroom, but I know that bathrooms without windows are very hard to keep ventilated and not everyone keeps doors shut and extractor fans on. i found once the extractor was run for a while and with the door shut, this was not a problem. I do not write this as a 'sad face' comment just an observation. It would not in any way, shape or form stop me from staying here again or recommending it to anyone - more an an FYI to anyone that should this be there when they arrive it is totally not a problem and just one of those things.

It is a tiny old place, located in the ground floor/ basement and we could hear too much noise. Landlord is crafty, not the best experience

The flat is not big but has everything you need. I liked that is it right accessible from the street. Also the bed was very comfy and the heating is quite quick so within few minutes you get warm place.

The baby bed was without linen, pillow or duvet which one usually doesn't transport when traveling. But that was just a minor issue. Also to note, it is an old building, so you can hear people walking at the upper flat.
