Excellent breakfast! Although at 10am it was empty in all buckets... was gone too quickly and no refill.. Nice bathroom.
I booked a double room and was very small... one bed and a very small chair, no where to put bags or hang clothes.. An old "rya"mat on the floor was not very clean but dusty and of allergies not to recommend...

Very nice setting in a big park. Rooms are located in several houses between 50 and 500 meters to the main house (breakfast). Breakfast is very nice with a variety of local+healthy options incl. fresh fruits. There are no unhealthy options like croissants - might be a disadvantage for some, but i think it is authentic. It is possible to take a swim in the lake which is very nice.
The rooms are very small but comfortable. The distance to breakfast can be long, which would only be an issue for old/disabled people or guest with small children (there are many stairs (stairfree via road would be much longer - but it is a villa on a hill…)
The only real dislike is for the lake entry. There are many ducks, it is basically a duck-faeces minefield. There are also many people who are not guests of the hotel and block the way in the water (e.g. fishermen on the dock) and there is no space to securely deposit the room key or personal belongings.

Helena who was standing at reception was extremely friendly and helpfull. All the staff is very customer focused and friendly. Shout out to Victor as well.

Great environment, beautiful buildings and the whole environment is exemplary. Outdoor area very beautiful and well maintained.
No internet connection in the room had to stand by the door to the internet connection.
The bed is very uncomfortable, it's clearly time to renew the bed.

Great location, very quiet (if your room isn’t close to the restaurant).
wifi not working in our building. Mentioned this to staff but wasn’t fixed and there was no feedback whatsoever (the least I would have expected).

Nice location
Sometimes very loud music coming from the bar until late; breakfast wasn’t ready at 8am on our last morning, so we had to leave just with a coffee and croissant

The staff was very nice and the room beautiful and clean. Breakfast was great with a lot of choice.
The room where you could get breakfast was a little small. When we came it was full with people and you could not really get to the food. However, there were enough tables to sit down have breakfast.

Amazing rooms and more than amazing food.
We totally felt like royalty staying here. Loved the big bath.
Very good staff in the restaurant.
Just one small minor detail was that at the time of booking I sent a message to the castle through booking.com asking for a certain room with the explanation that it was only one room in particular we were interested in. We got a prompt reply from a person at the castle saying it was sorted. Upon check-in, a person with the same name told us our reservation had been given a completely different room. When I mentioned the e-mail I got the reply, “that’s not a problem, I will change it now”. So we ended up with the correct room in the end, just annoyed it could have been given to someone else by accident, and even more annoyed it was very likely the same person we had been in contact with.

The hotel is in a wonderful natural location which we choose on purpose. The restaurant is very good and has a great atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent
Everything was great, but in our view the quality of the bed could have been better.
