No hot water or kettle for water and coffee in room. Restday for a hotel? No possibility for breakfast. Location not ideal. Very noisy. Dissapointed!!!

Asked for a lower room and got one. Food is Italian and very nice. Not really suitable for the disabled

The staff was helpful.

The staff was very nice, though I didn't interact with them very much apart from check-in and getting the WIFI username and password (which I didn't get automatically at check-in and which wasn't posted in the room). On the whole, the room and bathroom (the bathroom having a nice, large shower stall unlike the usual cramped European ones) were quite clean, with the exception of the window in the room. The room had a rotating fan blade - which is unusual in Germany - though without being able to open the window, it didn't help much in reducing the heat in the room.

The hotel is located next to a very busy road with lots of loud traffic in the industrial part of town, so it wasn't even possible to open a window to get some fresh air into the room (even if I'd wanted to, the window didn't open). There were two chairs in the room, a small easy chair and a table chair by the desk, the latter having a broken seat. There was a TV above the table, but it was so high up you couldn't see anything, and you couldn't move a chair back because the bed was in the way. If you sat on the bed to try and watch the TV, the screen was so small you couldn't really see much of anything on it. A bit of thought needs to go into placing small TVs in the right place if you're going to bother installing them. Not that it matters for the sleeping comfort, but due to the location, the building was covered in soot from car exhausts dating back to probably the 1970s, when the house was either built or last painted. If you're going to charge 50 Euro/night without breakfast, the building should at least look presentable.

There’s free parking, and it’s next to a motorway. So if you’re on a road trip in the region (like us) it’s a good place to have a break for driving and have a comfortable overnight sleep. We just needed a place to sleep, and we were satisfied with our stay. And despite the restaurant was closed, the hosts prepared us spaghetti and delivered it to our room. Felt welcomed :)

Rooms need some decoration to give them a bit more character. I know this isn’t a typical hotel but mostly a restaurant with a place to sleep. But the price (€65) is quite expensive for what it is. Our room was right next to the reception on the ground floor and facing a noisy street. We were too tired to be waken up by noise, but if you’re a light sleeper, a comfortable sleep isn’t guaranteed.

Was amazing I was very impressed

We had a very pleasant overnight stay, after a long trip, with very kind, friendly and humble host. They even offered to make for us a warm pizza in case we arrived when the restaurant was already closed. The property is neat, spotless and easy to access. We highly recommend it.
