Veitshochheim is under 10 minutes on the local train from Wurzburg but seems a totally different world away. Pleasant small village with old palace and walks by the River Main. Spundloch looks and feels traditional but with modern service standards. Excellent breakfast. Very good restaurant combining traditional German cooking with high quality local wines (Frankonian wines are great but often overlooked by non Germans). We had good weather and a good time here.
