The views from the cottage were exceptinal, fields, trees and sky for as far as you could see, and that was 11 miles to the next large hills. The location was wonderful, very away from it all, quiet and isolated. There are some very good walks in the area you can take, Wiveliscombe is 4.5 miles across fields and woods, check out the White Hart for good food. There are many birds in the area, take a bird book and binoculars. The host are lovely people.

Not dislikes but information: The access is down a very narrow lane with limited passing points. Pheasant like to play chicken on the lane and local roads. You are some way from shops so you have to be self sufficient.

cottage was warm and comfortable. there was lots of room with the open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. the views across the garden were excellent. the directions were clear but it was important to follow them and not the sat nav.

no washing machine which would have been an issue if we had stayed longer. it was too cold to use the BBQ hut. the roads are rather narrow to access the cottage.
