Loved the atmosphere, the design and the greenery. We are usually very active during our vacations, but the property had so many beautiful places that we never felt like leaving. It is definitely better than the pictures. This is the right place if you are looking for a relaxing mediterranean-style getaway. The pool area was more than great - there is a bar which offers all sorts of drinks, cocktails, food, ice cream and even cakes. The restaurant is separate and offers a good breakfast with a wide variety of dishes. We also had the dinner menu and it was very good as well. They served a variety if traditional greek dishes and fresh fish every day. For 20 euro per person you get 3 starters, main course and a dessert, which is a great price for the quality of the food. There is also a separate a la carte menu if you want something else. The staff were super kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant staff went the extra mile for our picky-eater kid and made slight variations of the dishes, so that she would be happy. Our room was cleaned daily. It was a bit dark in there, but it was not an issue, it was actually nice during the hot days. The gardens were very well maintained and beautiful. There is a very cute playground for the kids with a tree house filled with toys. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely visit again.

The place was unique and beautiful. Peaceful gardens and lovely pool area. The architecture and ambiance of the room made us feel relaxed as soon as we entered. We would definitely come back!

The TV in the room was not working it was showing no signal but that was fine as we did not visit the place for this purpose. Also in the room we had a kettle with cups but no tea bags or coffee to make ourselves which was a little disappointing.

We waited more than an hour for our room to be ready. The room was not clean (dead wasps in the sofa under the pillow and fungus in the bath tub).

The coffee by the pool, definitely not a double espresso taste, more like filtered coffee, especially when you charge 4,50 euro for it, is unacceptable. The pool wasn’t cleaned properly daily and also needed a bit of renovations. Also something that is not fair to be advertised is that the hotel has a private beach with free access. The access to their beach is for 15 euro per person for the sunbeds.

Fabulous stay at this hotel. Rooms were bigger than expected and kept very clean. The pool, gardens and bar area are lovely, it's a very relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was nice and all staff helpful. Would recommend and visit again.

Rooms: - rooms/houses are nice, but you don't feel comfortable, cozy and clean there. I do understand that it's the concept, but everything feels old and unclean - we had very small window, thus there was lack of fresh area and high humidity. We have asked to change room, but didn't see huge difference in other rooms - we had a lot of insects in our rooms and even a lizard running through our belongings. Not very nice, when you're traveling with a child, thus, we've asked to leave earlier Location: - very close to the road, thus very noisy. You can hear every car passing by - beach is not in walking distance. There is a transfer, but there only 4 slots in the morning - beach is at partner hotel (adults only), thus, priority there is for local guests. Once we were rudely asked to leave when we tried to put baby asleep outside beach area Breakfast: - it would be better if guest could get coffee themselves not waiting for a waiter - very large share of "sweet" staff. I'd replace with something else - something needs to be done with covers of hot dishes. Holding them each time is not convenient Staff: - staff is very friendly, but is too "picky" in some things: don't put bags there, don't sit there, etc.

Excellent location, beautiful garden between the apartments. Great staff and superb breakfast served in the garden and terrace. Apartments are really cozy with open fireplaces and gallery with king size bed.

Because of thick rustic rock walls and real fireplace - poor wifi signal in rooms, and possibility of small lizards showing up uninvited.

Absolutely loved the breakfast, one of the best I had at a hotel. The atmosphere is nice and peaceful thanks to the cool, mediterranean outlook of the rooms and the greenery. Dinner was delicious as well although the working hours was weird. The restaurant staff was always kind and hard-working. Especially the lady. Beach was nice, loved the drinks and food although a bit crowded.

Ridiculously rude front office staff. We had reserved two maisonettes and one of them was downgraded to a standard room which we learned after the check-in! We haven't heard any apologies or any mention of a refund. I had to ask and wait for them to decide whether they could refund us the difference between the two rooms! We were misinformed by the same staff on a couple of occasions regarding some technical details. We were not informed about the importance of making a reservation for the beach. Apparently, you have to reserve a day in advance, otherwise, sunbeds are not available. Same for the dinner. The restaurant is only open for 3 hours ∼ (which doesn't make much of sense to me) and walk-ins are not welcome if there are more than 3-4 tables. We were down for waiting longer than normal for the dinner to be served but one of the front office staff warned us in a really rude manner and we felt like it was expected for us to leave. We left despite being quite hungry. The conversation was disturbing and demeaning. Definitely make a reservation if you want to eat there. Other stuff: Wifi is not available in most of the rooms, only in common areas. The beach is not 800 meters away as mentioned on the website but rather 2 km. It is not a walkable distance. And the shuttle is not upon request despite the claims on the website, it is once a day at a fixed time point. It is better if you have a car. A lot of children playing in the pool and making noise. Not recommended for couples/families with no kids who are looking for a peaceful pool-side chilling.

Petrino is just great. We booked last minute not knowing the area and what a pleasant surprise we experienced. The property is embeded in beautiful gardens, the rooms inside and outside completed in rustic architecture each with a spacious terrace. The pool is lovely with adequate space around, it can get busy at times but not problematic at all. The staff was very attentive to Covid regulations which was comforting. Breakfast is fantastic, plenty of choice with a nice selection of greek delights like pies, yogurt, honey, fruits. Just great. We ate once dinner which was also very tasty and calm on the beautiful veranda. Maria our welcoming host was very kind, attentive, and always ready to support and inform us what the best choices in exploring the local area. Finally the pool bar and restaurant staff were super and attentive. The cleaning staff were thorough and fast and always managed to take care of the room when we were at breakfast! Highly recommend this location if you are planning to visit Kassandra! A green oasis.

The room was spacious, and nicely furnished. The breakfast was diverse and good overall. The pool area and the gardens were really nice, considering the heat of the Greek summer. All in all, definitely well worth coming back.

Petrino’s stone-made bungalows are scattered in a beautiful garden with a pleasant swimming pool in the middle. It is not an old Greek farm in the countryside but with some imagination you may believe it is. Rooms are big and with their own porch and table outside.

Appointed with some pretentions, the rooms are somewhat dark and with limited amenities. The shower has no curtains and is rather basic. There was no hot water in the rooms and barely anything was available for lunch by the pool. True, the hotel had just reopened for the season but the senior staff gave the clear impression of being very incompetent while taking themselves very seriously. The breakfast buffet is run with iron-fist by a lady who would happily slam the door at your face if you show up three seconds after closing time. All in all, there is better in the area (and the hotel is pretty far from the sea)

I was supposed to stay at Petrino but this place was already closed. I wasn’t informed by that, but honestly I was happy this was the case. White suites is Amazing! Amazing place, own beach with all the facilities you need. Spacious rooms, nice interior and comfortable bed. Friendly and very helpful staff. Close to the little centre of Afitos, easy walking there. Breakfast was managed so well, even with all the Covid-19 restrictions.

The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the guests neighbors. Wifi was not constantly all the time.
