Super Lage zur Innenstadt

The beds were super comfortable and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

We were very disappointed to discover there were 8 steps needed to access the lift. We are nearly 80 now and I have severe COPD which makes it very difficult to drag up suitcases to access the lift. We are always very careful to choose hotels with lifts, this hotel had one but did not disclose the 8 steps needed to reach the lift.

Location of the Hotel is superb. In walking distance of major attractions, as well as the waterfront. Bus stops and metro are directly near the hotel. Even carrying all my luggage, it was "no sweat" to reach the metro. The beach is reachable in some walking distance. I did walk by it to look, but did not otherwise visit the beach. Room was very clean and serviced daily by very attentive staff. There was someone at the front desk 24 hours. Breakfast is not served by the hotel, however, the adjacent cafeteria served simple and cheap breakfast, which I frequented daily. There would have been other options for breakfast nearby as well.

It did not bother me, but here was some noise from the street even at late hours. Persons susceptible to noise might find this disturbing.

Morning receptionist was very helpful and looked after us. She also new a bit of English that helped in our communication.
