Baan Rim Nam is riverside nestled in the mangroves which remain undisturbed and keep the air cool and sweet. Ian and his team, Maam, Pui and Mimi are friendly and helpful as can be. The property is top notch and spotless. All furniture and fixtures high end. Paddleboards and kayaks are an added bonus. We wouldn't change a thing. PS my name is Ron, not Tracy

It would be nice if they had a restaurant but there are several delightful options. It is a short 5 minute walk to a nice beach restaurant. You can order from across the river and have your meal delivered by boat or you can take a complimentary pontoon taxi to the seafood restaurant. All good.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful place I have every stayed at. The location is perfect with just a short canoe “ride” to a pristine, beautiful Beach. It is about a 10-15 walk to the main road but Ian and his crew can easily book a taxi to pick you up at the door. There is a quaint little family owned restaurant like 2 min away which is right on the ocean. they have kayaks available which we took out to watch the sunrise. With only 4 rooms you felt very much at home especially since the two staff member made sure you had every thing you needed

Everything was beyond our expectations: - Ian (the host) was very helpful, and organised our scooters rental and boat transfer - the room was new and clean, with a very comfy bed, nice TV with Netflix, good Wifi and big shower - the patio is on the water and it's very relaxing and peaceful - kayak are free to use

After four days we had to leave, we wanted to stay longer!

Great place, friendly staff, very clean and modern, rooms have good wi-fi, netflix. Surprisingly, there are no mosquitoes even though the house is on the river.

Baan Rim Nam was the perfect accommodation on Koh Chang if you want some peace or don‘t want to stay in a resort. The kitchen (family room) was fully equipped for cooking. The rooms were nice, clean and recently renovated. I was at first sceptical about staying close to a river but since it is mostly salt water it felt almost like staying at the beach (which is close enough).

If I could give 15 points I would do it without hesitation. This was probably one of the best stays I've ever booked. Truly exceptional! Location is amazing and from the room we could directly look on the a small river. The room itself is super modern, clean and has really everything you need. Super comfortable and I wouldn't mind staying there for a month. Outside is a nice relaxing area with bean bags and some tables. You can also take a kayak there for free and you can just paddle to the beach or up to the mangroves. But it's also the little things like mosquito repellent on every table, the super fast WiFi or Netflix in the room which make it a great place to stay Finally the staff is just super friendly, helpful and are just amazing people. They help with everything they can (scooter, washing,recommendations) and are the reason that the stay becomes such an amazing experience. It is the cherry on top of an already great hotel! Everybody has been great, with special probs to Mimi who has been an angel :) Baan Nim Ram is the place to stay on Koh Chang. It's exceptional value for money with a nice feels-like-home vibe and super friendly people! Strongest Recommendation!

Friendly owners and dogs. Clean, simple accommodation in a wonderful riverside setting. Pleasant 2 minute walk through the palms to the nearby Klong Prao beach and restaurants. Super fast wifi, ideal for working online. Aircon worked well. Coffee was great.

No TV. But that's not really needed for a few days away.
