The hotel maria is in an excellent location, between the bus station/terminus & train station although the hotel itself sits on a quiet side street. It is also close to various shops & cafes & a short walk from the supermarket. The hotel interior itself reminded me of something much more upmarket, with wide marble staircases, mirrors & glass bannisters. Check in was quick & easy & i was accompanied to my room & shown how to operate the lock. The room itself seemed larger than most with space to move around the double bed. There is also a desk with under counter fridge & a wardrobe with hangers. There is a lovely wide window although the wooden shutter means it's never too bright. There is also a small side patio adjacent to the hotel with some seating. All of the staff members i encountered on my visit seemed helpful & polite. They also spoke good english, which made things a little easier for me. Having stayed in my fair share of crap hotels, this was a pleasant step up. I've always said that good accomodation can increase your in holiday enjoyment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for anything in the area.

Due to improvement works, the optional breakfast was unavailable Housekeeping missed a day (I didnt really care) The lights in the room didn't seem as bright as they perhaps should be The room key card system was out of use during my stay (not really a complaint, more of an observation)

Room not very warm...had to ask for extra blanket. No kettle in the room which was advertised as having one.Hotel locks up at 11pm and have to use keypad to get in .BUT we only knew this because I asked!!!

i ordered 2 nights with breakfast, included, but when i come to the hotel, they say that kitchen is not working.....i cant understand it.....By the way, hotel rooms looks better at photos than in reality....it wasnt that clean, and room without carpet, so it means that it was very cold for foots...i cant recommended that place :(

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room was lovely with everything one could ask for. The hotel is very clean. Beds very comfortable. Near the train station so no need to get a taxi.

There is nothing to complain about but one thing to bear in mind is that there is no elevator but the staff are there to help with luggage if necessary.

A great place that I would recommend you to stay. The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was varied and good. We had the best breakfast in our Italy holiday here. The family was really helpful and friendly.

Noisy hotel, thiny walls, you can hear the neighbours all night, weak breakfast, the pictures are far from reality, mostly 2*..

The hotel had 2 dogs & you could smell dog when you entered the hotel. Cobwebs in the room & very dirty wardrobes & skirting boards

Perfect location for an overnight when passing through, very close to train station/ airport shuttle, walking distance. Clean. Air-con in the room.

The room was small, very noisy fridge in the room. Breakfast is too late if you want to catch a midmorning flight (positive: I could get hot water and some fruit to make my own breakfast). WiFi didn't work.

Breakfast could have been fresher, the cake was days old and not edible any more
