Location is very good. The apartment is spacious, very safe and it has all the cutlery, pots and appliances needed to cook. The owner is very flexible and accomodate our special requirements.

The apartment was very dirty when we arrived. Cutlery, pots, kitchen appliances, bathroom and the apartment in general need more love.

Apartments Bellas Artes are set in a high rise buiding in the centre of Santiago about 15 miles (20 minute drive) from Santiago International Airport. Location is good. Security is good for the apartment block. The flat itself had double locking and bolts on the main door. Complimentary WiFi.

We stayed in flat 1721 on the 17th floor. I wouldnt stay there again nor would I recommend it. It was dirty, unhygienic and not well equipped. The photos on Booking.com dont match what we walked into. The windows didn't lock so your possessions were left exposed. No one spoke English to help us. Our 2 bedroom flat had a very small lounge/kitchen with a sofa bed and table with 4 chairs. No TV in the main lounge. We had a private bathroom with bath and shower and a hairdryer. The bathroom was dirty on arrival with male footprints on the floor. The 3 big towels were washed out, old, rough and crusty. No hand towels were provided. No bathmat. No shower gel or shampoo. The shower is unique in that it cleans the ceiling at the same time as it cleans you! Water spurts everywhere making the tiled floor slippery enough to break your neck! The kitchen had food on the floor from the previous renters, a dirty fridge, an unclean oven and microwave, and a kettle that leaked. It was not sufficiently resourced. No bowls or big plates, only side plates, and the cups and glasses were cracked and chipped. The drainer was broken and crusty with water scale. We didnt use it. The dining table had seen better days and the seats each had there very own designs of rips and tears bearing the stuffing underneath, which cut your legs. In the main bedroom, there was a TV on the wall along with hairs in the bed and along the skirting boards. It was filthy. The linen had seen better days and the bedside cabinets were sticky!!! We tried to touch anything as little as possible. The small bedroom, which was more the size of a cupboard than a bedroom, though I'm sure Harry Potter would be impressed, had blood on the wall. We didn't use it, even though there was 3 of us.

Location was central and great. Easy access to apartment and good storage. Although furnishings a bit tired, and floors a bit water damaged it was clean, tidy and comfotable.

Could do with some additional kitchenware or updating as had to use the oven as a breakfast toaster and only small element on cooktop works, but very slow. Frypan no handle so a bit dangerous. Also even though dishwash liquid & scourer supplied (thankyou) there were no plugs for any sinks. However all was relatively clean.

the apartment is very well location, only two blocks from the main plaza. it is very quiet and has everything you need. it is a good price and the building staff are very friendly. the on site laundry is good. £1400 per wash but only takes coins.

the bed is not very comfortable and the apartment is very hot due to the hot weather outside.

well… where to start? the place was dirty, the bed was 100 years old, the bathroom was filthy, the broom was bought in the mid century and the trash can had trash water in it. the counter was sticky, same as the bed table. the pillows looked like they were picked up from the garbage out in the street, and the sheets had like wired marks on it… we asked the host if we could change the apartment which he responded with a very fast No, and delibertly ignored us.

We booked the apartment for 4 people and it was too small. From the picture it looked big but in reality it was very squeezy. We couldn't even open our luggage widely. The rooms don't have AC so it was very hot during the day. We had to open all the windows to get air inside.

We had less than 24 hrs in Santiago, but it was affordable and seemed like it was in a good location. We were able to hold our luggage there before check in.

This is not a con, but just a tip that the reception and person handling the payment didn't speak much English. We knew enough Spanish to understand, but if you don't know any then you might have a harder time or need to use Google translate.
