Beautiful apartment set in a lovely quiet part of Playa Blanca but in close walking distance to all amenities. Toni & Valerie were very welcoming and friendly with lots of good advice. Spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for somewhere buzzing with night-life, then this is not for you. If however, you are looking for an idyllic, quiet get-away, from the busy pace of modern life, then this is definitely one to consider. The apartment is beautiful, with everything you could possibly need. There is a kitchen/living room – all fully equipped; a large bedroom with doors opening out on to a spacious balcony; and there is an en-suite shower room (no bath – the only downside for me). The large balcony has a settee and a table and chairs and there are the most stunning views down to Playa Papagayo. There is nothing I like more than sitting outside early in the morning with a cup of tea, reading the paper (on my tablet) and listening to the gentle sound of the waves on the beach. Valerie, the host, is absolutely charming and couldn’t be more helpful. Needless to say, I have already booked my next two visits. This is a gem of an apartment and I almost hate encouraging people to stay, as I would love to keep it all to myself. Playa Papagayo, with its small selection of shops, bars and restaurants, is a 5 minute walk away. There is a SuperDino supermarket (open to 10pm) a 3 minute walk away and Marina Rubicon is a 15-20 minute walk (Market days are Wednesdays and Saturday).

Just a very personal thing in that I would have preferred a bath with a shower over, not just a shower.

We had a warm welcome from Valerie - Casa Mykonos is a lovely contemporary apartment with a stunning view out to Playa Pappagayo and the residents’ pool…immaculately clean and just a 20 min walk along the seaside promenade to the port & all the lovely restaurants, shops & bars…10 mins from the port to Playa Dorada for gorgeous swims… sea kayaking available just below the complex..cannot wait to return!

The location, the facilities and cleanliness were perfect. The owners were great meeting us when we arrived ensuring that we had all we needed and responding straight away to any questions. So much thought and care has been put into Casa Mykonos which meant we had a perfect stay. The treats in the fridge on arrival were a great surprise!

I cannot think of anything ……and I’m a harsh critique!

The apartment was excellent, very clean, and well equipped. Especially the balcony with a view on the ocean was great and very relaxing. Possibilities to eat and a convenience store were around the corner. Especially the proximity to the Papagayo beaches was great.

It is not located near the city center, and to reach the Papagayo beaches, further restaurants or other tourist sites on the island you need a car. But we intentionally chose the remote and quiet location (and not the noisy and busy center of Playa Blanca), so for us it was perfect :)

Very nice apartment on a new complex. Comfortable place with fully equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. Awesome terrace with a great view. Really nice place to relax in the evening. Pool on the complex is really nice, but water can be a bit cold outside of summer (not heated).

Sometimes there was a bit of a noise behind the wall in the evenings.

Firstly, hosts were fantastic, they welcomed us warmly and helped with our luggage and had even left us some Prosecco, beer and water in the fridge as well as some fresh fruit which was a lovely touch. They very kindly offered to take us to a couple of the local beaches as well if we wanted! On our departure they organised a taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport. Very much appreciated. The apartment was very spacious, we loved the outdoor terrace which overlooked the pool and the ocean. It was great to wake up to such a beautiful view every day! Everything was absolutely spotless in the apartment, the bed was super comfy and the shower very good. Well appointed kitchen and loved having the coffee machine! We couldn’t have asked for a better location either, so quiet, peaceful and relaxing but within easy walking distance along the promenade to the Marina where there were plenty of restaurants. Also conveniently close to a supermarket. A big thank you to Toni and Valerie for their amazing hospitality, we really look forward to our next visit to beautiful Playa Blanca!
