All staff members are so friendly and helpful. Their breakfast are much more unique than other hotel (not typical continental breakfast). Especially Nichole(I hope I spell her name correctly) and breakfast crews are very kind to adjust my mother’s requests every morning! The building itself is gorgeous and historic! The room is spacious. We requested an extra bed in the apartment and that makes room much tighter but room service crews paid extra attention and adjust furnitures for us to make more room! We were impressed by that! My mother is visiting Europe very first time ever and she enjoyed every minute of staying at Menina Colina. We will stay there again for our next Porto trip! (We loved their garden for relaxing too)

Lovely restored historic apartment! We had a large room with French doors and balcony overlooking back garden. Breakfast could be enjoyed inside or out.

All was wonderful (but note no elevator, so necessary to carry luggage up the stairs —but stairway is beautiful—makes it pleasant🙂)

The property is beautiful with a lovely courtyard and great views from the upper floors. It is very convenient to some great shopping and good attractions. The rooms are very large and can work for a small family, and the kitchenette was great. The staff was eager to please.

Breakfast hours are limited (you can't grab a quick breakfast and make an early tour, for example) and if your rate doesn't include breakfast it is apparently a problem. There is no elevator, so you will need to lug your bags up at least a couple of flights of stairs.

Good Location, friendly helpful Staff, very interesting renovated old building. The bonus was the evening musical performance in the garden.

The hotel is a nice place to stay just out from the centre of Porto. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast (when it arrived) was very good. I would recommend it.

The organisation for delivering breakfast was often chaotic. Sometimes the wrong breakfast was served sometimes the breakfast ordered did not arrive. One time I received breakfast but my wife didn't, one time we waited 45 minutes for breakfast to arrive and were then asked 'What's missing?' - Answer 'the breakfasts!!!'. I would put this down to lack of staff and lack of organisation in the kitchen. Having said all that the staff corrected things that went wrong and the coffee, fruit drinks and food were all very nice.

The hotel is beautiful. They upgraded our room. It was a really nice gesture of them!

Beautiful restoration. Stunning room with balcony and extremely comfortable bed/ sheets. Kind attentive staff. Great location east walk to every place of interest.
