the bed was very comfortable and the staff very helpful.

the hotel is such a lovely setting but we were very disappointed with the cleanliness. our bathroom was not clean especially the floor and basin area. the room was cleaned daily but they only made beds and brushed floors. the windows were dirty and we felt the floors and bathroom needed a thorough clean. outside we paid extra for our own pool but didn’t use it as again felt it was not clean. we were also never supplied with enough toilet rolls and tissues. the other issue was replacing towels, we always had to ask, service was poor. overall we feel this hotel was overpriced for what we received

We stayed just under a week and had a truly wonderful stay here and could not recommend it enough. The rooms were really fresh and beautiful and cleaned daily and refreshed towels when needed. The actual area for relaxing in the hotel was the best, and in our opinion, definitely the best on Pagoda Beach and we think on the whole island from what we saw in terms of value for money too. There are plenty of sunbeds for all the guests so we were never without one, even if we only came out later. The area by the pool was super, and down by the beach was also fabulous. At happy hour every day someone would come down to see if we wanted drinks which was a great touch, we would also order our lunch at the restaurant and have it down on our sunbeds which was lovely. It’s a lovely restaurant space, breakfast was really fab there, evening the food was absolutely delicious in Anaya, but personally for the evening we preferred the vibe in the sister resort Tamu. We would start our evening with drinks on the table and chairs on the beach in Anaya and wonder down to Tamu for dinner which was just perfect every evening! (Super and reasonably priced wine lists in both too - Provence rose yes please!). The hotel have free use of paddle boards, and also a kayak at Tamu you can also use which was really great. They have various activities that you can also do which were fab. We enjoyed a few massages at the hotel too which were really really great and a beautiful spot. The staff were unbelievable throughout and made our time there. Nothing was too much trouble, when ordering tuktuks, booking the moped, everything was very easy which was great. We got the pagoda beach boat on our way to turn island which was fab, but due to time got a different one leaving and they were fantastic with organising everything for us including transfers into Phnom Penh.

The music played in restuarant pool seating are? No need we were in room 12 and could hear it at 7 am, where as people would like to hear waves and trees, if it was just quiet back ground music in restuarant ok, really need to look at this,

We were 2 nights in Anaya and 3 nights in Temu (the resort belongs together, just 2 minutes by feet) and we really enjoyed both resorts. The staff and hotelmanager was super kind and helpful also with organized taxis, boat etc. The rooms/tent was perfectly clean and the beaches are the most beautiful in this area. Kindly recommend both hotels.

Everything was perfect. The Dinner is more traditional in Temu. So we preferred this:)

The location and the rooms were nice.

There was nothing to do. Not even a television. The service is the restaurant was poor. Staffed lack training. No time management skills

Tout. Chambre parfaite spacieuse, grande, décorée, avec rangement. Piscine et mer à moins de 50 pas. Petit déjeuner incroyable. Beaucoup de services proposés ainsi que les activités (paddle, loc scooter pour visiter l'île, boat trip pour snorkeling, pêche, plancton et coucher de soleil en mer etc.) Personnels et gérants de l'hôtel hyper sympathiques, bienveillant et aidant, très agréable !

Our stay with Anaya was just amazing. From start to finish. The entire staff, from managers, waiters to house keeping, everyone greets you and smile at you at all time. They make you feel welcome and at home. The small villas are amazing and the bathroom outdoor is something unique. After getting used using the toilet outside it’s a special personal place. The restaurant has a wide variety of western and Cambodian food. My personal favorite was the Beef Lok Lak, but all meals from the menu are very high quality. The resort in general is very well looked after, clean, and tidy. Knowing that the island is still in an early development stage, the currently rather slow Wi-Fi was not a big issue for us as we also wanted to unplug from the internet. They also offer a nice variety of activities which is a nice bonus.

It took a few days getting used to the outdoor toilet and the bugs in rainy season :)

Very friendly and helpful staff. We got a free upgrade to the rooms with a private pool. Room was beautiful decorated, spacious and clean. Good bed and bedding. The outdoor bathroom is very nice. We would have liked two lounge chairs outside the room (in addition to the sun beds) and an extra chair inside the room. The rooms have very good air-cons. The hotel has a beautiful pool and the beach is kept clean every day. Breakfast is perfect, enough choice (fruit, bread, eggs, toast and jam, fried rice/ noodles etc).

The accommodation lacks enough shade. There are some trees but not enough. With shade netting or a simple thatched paillote would that problem be solved, invest at the same time in lounge sets on the beach were you can enjoy your drink and food. We would also suggest to have a bit more on the menu and to add some simple snacks/ finger food that people can enjoy while having a drink. We did ate in the restaurant and the food is good but choices are little. We went to other hotels at the beach for their restaurants.

Absolutely LOVED my stay at Anaya. A dreamy resort with a spacious room and clean, well-equipped bathroom. The moment you wake up and open your curtains, you know you landed in paradise. The beach is calm so you can find the rest you need, but the hustle and bustle of Kaoh Touch is only a refreshing scooter drive away. The pool was clean, there were many things to do and the breakfast buffet was absolutely splendid. However, as a solo traveler, I think what made the stay an absolute dream was the incredibly kind and welcoming staff. They were ready to serve at every whim and always did it with a huge smile on their faces. My stay at Anaya was worth every single penny and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to take some time off and enjoy this beautiful island.

Very welcoming and quiet. the resort is situated on a very nice part of Koh Rong. The waiters were outstanding, the rooms were lovely. I highly recommend !

a treat for our friends bday whilst travelling this is an amazing resort! not too expensive compared to other resorts on the strip but the rooms are gorgeous and amazing outside shower and toilet for a unique experience. no tv in room which we liked as good for a digital detox and to unwind. the location is remote but this makes the beach even more beautiful and clean. (even nicer than the beach on the smaller koh rong island). if you want to stay more near the party side then be prepared to get taxis which are easily arranged but can add up in cost as cost per person but the staff are very helpful. food was delicious!

Amazing hotel. 5 star experience and honestly it could really be that high. It’s clean, feels new, beach location is ideal. It felt very boutique in fact. Staff were amazing. Especially Chan in the restaurant. He and the rest of the team were lovely. Massages too were 10/10. An amazing place.

Probably being a little harsh here but if I had to pick there could be more veggie dishes on the menu. Also thought the food was slightly overpriced but the quality and portions were ok!

loved the location, so close to the sea!! all the staff where amazing especially the manager of the restaurant who works most days and nights, so friendly and so sweet. each member of staff helped us so much with anything we needed and made it the best experience

Anaya Resort, the staff are friendly and helpful, and rooms are comfortable with the best views in cambodia over looking a beautiful beech and our room came with a swimming pool that we used and enjoyed many times The restaurant was nice and the food good with a nice selection between Western and Asian food and drinks

Mostly unusable beach, 3 days out of the 4 was very windy and wavy while calm waters and no wind on most of the other beaches of the island. Low quality restaurant, so we had dinner only the first day. Poor breakfast and exactly the same every day. Cheap cutlery, cheap bed sheets, poor pillows. The pool in the suite is useless, not appealing. Definitely not good value for money.

This hotel is set on a perfect beach that is well maintained by the staff. 20 metres in either direction the beaches are littered with plastic so it's great to see that these guys cared. We had an issue with the door to our room not being secure which was dealt with very quickly by resort staff. The staff on site were very friendly and happy to help with any requests. The food available was a lot better than neighbouring resorts. There were excursions to do, I would recommend hiring the moped and going for a tour around the island, it doesn't take long to get to Sok San beach which has a bit more going on and gets the sunset If your goal is to sit on the beach and relax and switch off then this is the place for you. Beautiful beach, 28oC sea temperature.

As with other reviews I feel the resort needs some TLC. I got the feeling that it had been closed for a while (or maybe recently changed hands). Repairs and maintenance were being done whilst we were there addressing some negative comments from previous reviewers. We were staying in room 3 and also had the mummified gecko in the bathroom blind (if you roll it all the way down you'll find it). The bamboo screening in the outdoor bathrooms (which I loved but my partner didn't), is rotten at the base. Looked pretty bad The sun loungers near the beach are decrepit and require replacement. The spa is an open hut with two massage beds in it. People in the restaurant can watch you having your massage

very nice pool and great food

Stunning location, perfect for rest and relaxation by beach or pool. Rooms are large and very comfortable. The staff are all exceptional and always happy to help. Food fantastic and varied with decent prices. A highlight was the Plankton trip at night - an unforgettable experience. At the time of our stay the weather was wet but still had a great time. The team are especially helpful in organising boat/taxi to and from the hotel.

We had a very relaxing stay at Anaya. The beach and the pool were lovely. it was very peaceful. Food was tasty The staff were really kind and friendly. Bed was very comfortable and loved the outdoor bathroom.

Overall we loved it, however would suggest that the beach and sand areas of the resort could be cleaned / tidied up. Housekeeping were a bit hit and miss and it didn’t look quite as nice as in the photos! But this are small points that didn’t take away from an otherwise great stay.

Everything, it was my best holiday stay ever. Because of covid there was literally no one on the first day so we had the whole hotel by ourselves and the staff were very very friendly and welcoming! I still can't believe the amount of luxury we had with the price we paid.. amazing..

I wish if the private swimming pool a bit more cleaner.
