We can't say enough good things about The Dock Resort! We'd like to thank Tony and his staff (Bra)for a wonderful stay at his piece of paradise! The staff was uber accommodating! The facilities are beautiful and clean! The dock resort is surrounded by beautiful lush vegetation, the pool is perfect for lounging and the dock is an excellent place to catch a breeze. The nearby snorkeling is the best! We are a family of 12 and we all had ample private space. Definitely get the staff package! I would definitely recommend The Dock Resort for your group stay!

Anthony is amazing. We did get the package chef snd staff who were wonderful! The food excellent! Always willing to go above and beyond. We took our children and grandchildren (14 total) for my husbands 65th birthday . The place is unique and just beautiful. We would highly recommend this beautiful resort!!!

The mix of jungle, mangroves, and water on this property was fantastic! The beautiful pool, waterfall, jacuzzi, gym, massage room, and all-day bar was everything we were craving for our Roatan experience. The staff and Tony were amazing, they made our stay just perfect, and we hope to come back!

We had a wonderful time at The dock resort! Staff package is the only way to go. Everyone was friendly, helpful and so enjoyable to be around. Thank you Tony for always being so responsive and quick to respond. We also loved our sweet guard dog ❤️

The pictures really does not do this place justice! From the moment we walked in we were literally in awe with its beauty! Tony is an amazing host, and but Bra is the man with the plan and has all the answers anyone could need. Literally anything we wanted or needed all we had to do was ask and the problem was solved. I would highly recommend the staffing package but honest we did not eat a lot of the food. There was nothing wrong with it we just didn’t stay at the dock resort during the day long enough to wnjoy all the meals Overall though amazing stay! We will definitely be back.

Tony and his staff did a nice job of taking care of us, handling our needs, requests, food choices, entertainment , options to do excursions, etc. Be sure to book the staff package. The facilities were clean, organized, well stocked, adequately maintained, and the help was timely and catered to all of us. We utilized the facilities to the full extent with the pool(vb and floaties), kayaks, barge(great snorkeling), exercise equipment, and their expertise. The food was good, and they catered to our menu choices, and overall was economical, but the cost was not well communicated and that was confusing. (Probably the only thing I would improve on) If I had the choice of going there again with a similar sized group, I would definitely recommend and do it again. So my review is quite favorable.

This property was fantastic with room for everyone. It is truly a resort with plenty of space to be together or be apart. We purchased the Staff package which was $700 and definitely worth it. Rumy and Bruh took great care of us the entire week. Food wise, you should plan on about $140 per person per week. Rumy does all the shopping and running which is so appreciated. Coffee was ready every morning! There is no housekeeping until you leave so just keep that in mind. It was fine since the cooking was done outside and not within the house. The pool is amazing. The hot tub was not operational though. Hammocks everywhere. Boats, pool table, kayaks...you really didn't need to leave the property. There is a crazy Rooster that will wake you early for that coffee. There are a couple of dogs roaming but they made us feel safe and they were so sweet. Suggestion - definitely have the massages! Skip the distillery and the chocolate factory unless you are out shopping and just pop in. Go for a burger at Hangover Hut...best burger! Enjoy the Violinist, she was incredible. Her music was such a highlight on the last evening of our trip. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. I honestly think we will be back with another group of friends!

First of all Tony was great communicating leading upto the trip always getting back to me within a very short time. From the time we touched down in Roatan Tony was at the airport ready to take care of my group. The crew at the house is an absolute must have. Rumy, Bruh, and Sexy Chef made the trip. Anything we asked for they made it happen. The crew treated us like their own family and were always looking to please the group. Whether we went out on excursions or out on the town they went with us to ensure we had a great time. This was by far one of the most unique vacations we have ever been on and would do it all over again. One of a kind resort highly recommend you checking it out.

The staff package is the way to go. It is a great resort. The people are friendly, the food is delicious, and they cater to your every wish.

Wonderful property with huge pool and awesome staff. Like other reviews said, the staff package is the way to go. My advice is to communicate in the beginning and pay them up front. We did not know that until Rumi said he was running out of money for groceries. Otherwise we would have given him an allowance in the beginning since there were 12 of us. Same with the staff package. I thought we just paid at the end until it was mentioned to us. So just expect to pay that upfront. Bring enough cash for tips and any excursions/taxi rides you want to do. Roy is a great excursion provider. You will fall in love with Rumi, Chef, Brah, and all of the animals on the property. One thing to note: all showers and sinks are salt water, however, there are freshwater dispensers in all the rooms including for the fridge water. We used bottled water we bought at the store to rinse after brushing our teeth. And some chose to rinse their hair as well. Some rooms are semi-private so just keep that in mind when booking with other couples. I love the layout with two kitchen areas and separate casitas- the casita with three bedrooms stays really cold for sleeping but it only has one queen bed and the others are bunks. One of the masters on the main floor also connects to a bunk room but there’s no a/c in that bunk area. So would be better for kids. There are split duct a/c units in the bedroom areas but no central a/c which is common down here. We were still okay with hanging out and playing pool as the ceilings are high and vented well. There are plenty of spaces on the property to go and hide. The beach is shared with a couple of other properties but that wasn’t a big deal as we met other visitors. The easiest transportation to West End is by boat which was super convenient (about 5-10min). Ask for Big John for this. Just trying to be thorough so people know what they are signing up for but overall was a great experience!!

Our family 5 couples stayed for one week to celebrate 60th birthday and retirement. There was plenty of space for our group. This resort has amazing staff that will make your stay memorable. On the grill you have Wilmer Woods aka sexy chef thanks for all the great meals and snacks. Manager/ bartender Rumy thanks for everything calling water taxis, great drinks overall making sure we were taking care of. Groundskeeper/ bartender Rolondo aka bruh thanks for keeping things tidy, great drinks and overall making sure we were taking care of. Gisel thanks for the massages. Also Roy our excursions guy thanks for arranging zip line, ATV, scuba diving, fishing and horseback riding we enjoyed them all. This is not a five star resort but you will have an amazing time. Again the staff is what makes this a great place to stay! We hope to return and see you all.

Had a great experience with family and friends at the Dock Resort. Staff was excellent and well worth the extra charge, they were very accommodating. Resort is definitely island style living with a/c only in the bedrooms but it was great to get out of the heat to sleep. Lots of activities included with our stay like kayaking, snorkeling trips, paddle boarding, pool and gym. One thing to get used to is the faucet water it’s filtered salt water meaning it leaves your skin soft but taste salty. They have plenty of fresh water jugs for drinking, washing face or brushing your teeth. In conclusion if you choose the extra chef package this VRBO will feel like a hybrid between resort and private home. We all had a great time.

We traveled with 5 other couples and had all the space we needed. The resort was great and the staff was amazing! Staff made efforts to accommodate anything we needed or wanted. They were friendly and very helpful. We had meals served in many locations on the property. Massages were just the relaxation we needed to chill out on our vacation. The owner was available any time we needed him and provided entertainment multiple nights of our week long trip. This place is great location for snorkeling and scuba diving and has snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking equipment if you need it. We enjoyed the water taxis that took us to many places on the island. The Dock Resort is a great value for what is provided! Drinks, food and service were all extremely affordable for what you get. Loved the sunset cruises and the impromptu trips to the reef. The resort had all the creature comforts that we needed. The dog on property kept us all feeling very safe and we paid him well in leftovers. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and get away from the hustle and fray, this is a perfect place.

The property is private and can accommodate lots of people. We had 6 couples. Everyone was comfortable and had privacy within our private resort. No venders wandering through like all the public beaches and hotels. It was our place on our schedule. The staff was great and extremely accommodating. They will take care of you. They had a gentleman who helped us plan excursions and all were fun and exactly what was expected. I would definitely suggest this for anyone looking for a private getaway with friends and family.

This property is eclectic, rustic, roomy, full of nice foliage and wonderful outdoor living area...not to mention being on the water with a spacious pier area for gathering! Communication before arrival was great, and we opted for the staff package, which definitely made our trip!! Rumy, Brah and Chef were not only personable and catered to all our asks, but they served up the best drinks and food throughout the week! They make this place special, and we felt as if we had made 3 new friends/family members! Giselle also showed up on request to provide some needed massages to get us relaxed for vacation! This property thrives because of the wonderful people that are eager to make your stay magnificent. The amazing pool is carefully sheltered with cozy lounging and is embedded in a grove of palms with wildlife of the Caribbean. The estate has all the amenities to make a comfortable stay. The dock provides refuge to all types of weather on the island but, remains steadfast to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, tropical breezes and commanding views of the bay. The grounds are extraordinarily diverse, accommodating a large group for adventure seekers or intimate gathering for a secluded retreat. It is home to roosters, chickens, a cat and a family friendly dog. Thank you Tony, Rumy, Will, Bruh, Roy and Gisselle for providing an exclusive encounter of Roatan. We just stayed 11 days. 10 people. I have travelled with this group multiple times, so our internal group dynamics have already been worked out. The location is perfect. Very secluded, with a short ride to tourist traps and all of our excursions picked us up right at the property. Groceries were the only thing we wished was closer. The pool is the best we've experienced at a private rental, and we spent almost all of our time in/around it! The issues we had were mostly communication related. Our group has a lot of food related issues, celiac, seafood allergies, vegan etc. So we rent places where we can cook. The rental description lists multiple kitchens, and this sounded ideal. Instead, when we arrived, there was a single, poorly functional (and small) kitchen for guests, and a great space for the chef. There was no way we could cook for 10 in that kitchen, so we split up and 5 used the chef, and those with more serious food problems used the kitchen. Pricing was confusing, and multiple times we were left disagreeing over what was agreed upon. From the cost of the staff, price of an extra room etc. In the end, we were happy with the arrangements, but some stress could be avoided by making sure prices a d expectations are clearly defined. The staff are incredible. Brah (maintenance and groundskeeping) , Mr. Woods (Chef) and roomie (bartender) were great to be around, fit into our group and simply accommodated every request we had. Overall, this was a really nice place that could be top notch with a few tweaks to the transparency and communication. I recommend getting everything laid out clearly, and also recommend paying the staff. Well worth the cost! *I would also add, as a father of boys 7 and 9, that I wouldn't bring kids under 12 to this spot. Gaps in railings, some questionable electrical etc. make it not ideal for young people.

Our group had an amazing vacation at the Dock Resort and I highly recommend staying there! Tony provided all of the needed information prior to our trip and was at the airport to greet us upon arrival. He was very attentive to our needs during the whole week and made all the arrangements to make sure we had the best experience possible. All of the activities he helped organize were awesome and a great experience. Roy our tour guide was fantastic and made sure every activity went flawlessly. He was with us the whole time and was a pleasure to spend a couple days with. He had tons of activities that were available and I wish we could have done more. The facility is stunning and really is your own private resort. There is plenty of space for a large group and a lot of amenities to keep you busy. The pool area is amazing and there are a lot of hidden locations to relax in all over the resort. I highly recommend the hammock on the third level of the dock overlooking the ocean! The location is close to the West End and the staff will coordinate transportation anytime you want to head there. Gizelle the masseuse provided excellent massages which are done in the private massage studio onsite. Wilmer, the personal chef is very skilled and will make you anything you want. He was fun to talk to and definitely enhanced the experience. We enjoyed every meal he made and the flavors were outstanding. I can’t say enough about Tony’s staff as they were absolutely amazing! Finally, Brah and Rumy were like family during the whole week and made sure they did whatever needed to make our vacation the absolute best! We are already looking forward to our next vacation at the Dock Resort!

We had people from ages 40 to 1 staying here, the house is enormous and the grounds are absolutely beautiful with all the gardens! Anthony and staff were very attentive and helpful the entire stay. If you needed anything they would get it for you. Chef cooked great meals and he was very accommodating to our more picky eaters. Rummy made great cocktails and Brah even dove off the dock to save my phone! The masseuse was wonderful, snorkeling was amazing, kayaking near the mangroves was great, we took boat out a few times to watch sunset too. We didn’t have much trouble with bugs but we were very diligent about the using bug spray that Anthony had provided for us. We did do a lot of exploring of the island which I feel is a must. Overall we had a great experience, THANKYOU guys for everything!

Tony was great and very attentive. The small issue we had he took seriously and had it resolved faster than we thought possible. We hope to stay here again soon. It's perfect for large groups for fun and relaxation. The proximity to West End was PERFECT!

What a place!! Anthony did a fantastic job in organizing all the details about our stay in Roatan. We had 14 in our group and we had some in our party landing and leaving from the airport at different times, including one that thought she was leaving a day early! Anthony made sure we all got to his place safely and was an excellent host! Make sure to take the kayaks out and snorkel in the cove. It was some of the best I did! The place is absolutely magical! You have the place all to yourself and the place is as good as all of the photos! We paid a little extra to have Rumy, Brah and Chef be there for our entire trip. Highly recommended!! They not only took care of us, they quickly became good friends! Great drinks, excellent food and they can help organize anything that you need! I can’t wait to come back and have a shot of Gifferty with them again! I was the one that organized this trip and all of my friends that went were amazed at this place and we can’t say enough great things about our stay in Roatan! Thanks Tony and the guys! Beautiful property with amazing host and staff.

Had a great stay with Tony and his Group Bra- nice trip out to see the sunset on the barge and kept the place looking great.. Rumi- ran the show w great non alcoholic drinks and superb service Chef Wilbur- excellent food w a great variety Having staff there to wait on us was amazing - we brought a freezer box of steaks and cheese and fish from the states and he cooked them for meals and made a fantastic ceviche Lots of love went into building the property- a rustic farmhouse feel. Fun pool table, swimming pool and play your own Bluetooth tunes. The dock is a great place to have dinner- cool breezes and great atmosphere- private sand beach- sea kayaks- We scheduled a fire dancer and boxing instructor and everyone had a blast!!! Bring some OFF pump spray and use it on your legs.

Staff was simply amazing! Rumwaldo (Rumy) Chef and Brah you are so accommodating and have the best personalities. Truly are the heart. Felt safe and private. Plenty of room to hang together or find quiet places even in a large group.

This place is amazing. There were 12 of us. This place is so large we never felt crowded. It is a beautiful spot. The staff (Brah, Belkie and Rumy) did such a great job. I can’t say enough about how good this place is. Big beautiful house, large pier and pool.

Very fun property to just rest and relax in the awesome pool, kayaking or paddle boarding in the bay or water taxiing to West Bay or West End! The Dock was amazing and staff very helpful and kind. Whatever you need, Rumy or Brah were there to get it for you! Tony was available each day for anything you may need. Our group had a great time and Tony was very accommodating!

Little piece of heaven on earth! Tony has a wonderful property with attentive staff. Great food if you want to be cooked for and a bar to serve you up cold drinks while you sit by the beautiful pool. You could really just stay at the property and not leave if you want, but if you want to venture out then Tony and his staff can help you with that too! The house was beautiful and had all the amenities as described, not to mention the unbelievable dock where we were treated to a sunset dinner and live violonist. On our last night Tony brought in a fire show performer while we had dinner and drinks by the pool. Such a fantastic property and top notch service!

I rented this mansion when we went to Roatan with our friends for our wedding. We had 13 people stay in the house and were beyond impressed! If you’re reading the description and wondering what all this house is about, I was just as confused and skeptical. The house has bed space for 18 however the owner asked we don’t put more than 15 in the home. The home is 3 levels with plenty of room and privacy for everyone to not feel crammed. The dock is a huge 3 story structure great for hanging out on, we even had a yoga instructor come teach a class on the dock! The pool area is where we hung out most, it was incredible and again has plenty of seating for everyone to hangout. Then there’s a bar/small kitchen you can order food and drinks from. We hired the chef for the week, he is a good hard working honest guy who was very dedicated to making sure we were fed and happy. We would buy groceries and he would cook, sometimes we just have him the money and he would get the groceries and bring back change and a receipt. The food was incredible and chef is good at watching the food budget!! Then there is BB and Brah, they are there at the property (they don’t go in the house, just at the property) and help with anything you need!! They took us out on the boat to drop us off for snorkeling, did beer runs, kept the bar/pool area clean, helped us get kayaks and paddle boards down, anything we needed! They were also very good people who we trusted 100%! There is a gym and massage table available also on property. The masseuse doesn’t speak English but BB or Brah would translate and coordinate times for massages! We had 10 other guests staying elsewhere that would come hangout at the property and come over for dinner almost every night, the house is PERFECT for big groups! We will be back for sure! Now that I’ve seen the property I understand why Tony’s description was confusing, there is soooo much to picture/ describe it is almost impossible. The only downfall our group had was that the house is On salt water and that made hair brushing almost impossible for some hair types! Thanks Tony, Chef, BB and Brah! We had a great time!!
