Reviewer Comments: This unit is completely redone and spacious with a glorious view. It is also well stocked. During our January 2024 stay, the entire condominium property was undergoing major repairs (new roofs) and they were working on building 15 and building 16. We endured a crane and dumpster parked in front of our building as well as workers pounding on the clay tiles and roof of our building. We also had a bug infestation (roaches and ants) during our stay, which required two pesticide treatments. The normal parking area was inaccessible and there was a ladder and a pile of broken clay tiles blocking the front entry. We took pictures of the mess and sent a daily update to rental agency. I would not recommend staying at any unit of the Puamana condos during the construction, which has been going on since 2020.

The inside is so new and decorated nicely. Great view on a golf course and a short walk to a secluded beach. Also close to Anini beach, a world class snorkeling location. Only problem was construction nearby.

This condo was conveniently located near grocery and shops to stock up on anything you need for the trip. 10-15 mins from Hanalei and Tunnels with stunning views. Check in and out process was easy. Condo was stocked with all the beach essentials, towels, kitchen appliances, etc you would need. The condo is situated on beautiful golf course with ocean views for sunrise and sunsets! Highly recommend to others.

Stayed here with my wife and toddler and this place was perfect. It has a great view over the golf course. It is also close to groceries and shops in Princeville, or Hanalei if you're looking for a bit more variety. There's a walkable beach as well as many more that are a short drive away.

Puamana 16B was great for our crew of four. The unit is very professionally managed and is a standout rental in terms of being well-stocked with essentials. The array of beach gear was a huge plus and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The unit isn't large, but it was more than enough space for our family of four. As other reviewers have noted, the only downsides might be 1) the lack of AC—although we managed just fine during a pretty warm week. There are plenty on box fans, and with managing open/closed windows we stayed comfortable enough. 2) The smoker next door was a little annoying, but not nearly as bad as other reviewers seemed to indicate. The view from the lanai is spectacular and more than enough to make up for a periodic waft of smoke. Overall we thought the place was a solid rental.

In case the property photos have not been updated, the upstairs loft is now divided into two rooms, so there was plenty of privacy for my two teens to have their own space. Many units in the north do not have AC, so we assumed the trade winds would do the work. However, it was very warm. Between the chain-smoking neighbor to the left and the construction going on in the unit to the right, and the roosters 5 am wake up, it wasn't very enjoyable. The layout of the unit is quirky. Not enough floor space on the first floor, so luggage ended up in the main hallway entering the unit. The views were beautiful and the kitchen had everything we'd need to cook. Location was close to everything we wanted to do.

I wish I could give a solid five stars. Because the property was beautiful, beautiful location, property management was easy to work with. However, the homeowner next-door is a chronic smoker. Smokes on the lanai daily. Even though this is against the rules within the community as it is within the state of Hawaii. There is no point in reaching out to property management about this issue if you stay at this location. They can’t stop him from smoking. That said, we just dealt with the problem by ignoring it, or getting away from the lanai when he was smoking. Overall, even with this lame smoker, it was an enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately unit 16C was under construction. A few days into our stay we were woken up by loud construction noise. I did call the rental company to let them know that we were being disturbed by construction noise. I was truly unhappy that we were not made aware that the next unit was undergoing renovations. If we would have known we would have changed our accommodations. After voicing my concerns there was no additional follow up by any management which seemed quite unprofessional.

The property was clean and comfortable and was well equipped. It had a beautiful view from the back balcony and was in a good location for us, but we did drive down to the south side of the island a lot. Just a few issues - the management company called us the day of check in to inform us that the water and ice on the refrigerator were broken and that someone would drop off ice trays. We never received the ice trays so we bought some. Also, the downstairs bed frame was slightly broken. We noticed it was very creaky and sagged a bit on one side. It became uncomfortable after several nights so we looked under the bed and noticed a piece of the frame was broken. We did notify the management company the day before we checked out and they were going to have maintenance fix it. There was a good supply of beach chairs, beach towels etc. and two umbrellas (one was broken).

This was the best rental I have ever stayed in. The management was always available to answer questions. We had one issue that was resolved quickly. The unit was beautifully renovated with brand-new appliances. There were excessive amounts of bath and beach towels. Boogie boards, noodles, beach chairs, beach cart, and more we're a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone slept well after long adventures. The view was incredibly. There is a lime tree near the pool that had fresh fruit.

Because we got to the property at midnight, it was difficult to see the building numbers and we have a hard time finding the property. Directions would have been helpful. The dishwasher did not work.

My family had a wonderful Thanksgiving in this beautiful townhouse! Perfect location, well furnished, walk to beach…. Everything we could ask for.

This was my family's first trip to Kauai and we had a wonderful time using this condo as our home base. The space upstairs is even better than the pictures -- there is a wall and closet between the queen bed and the sitting area with the sleeper sofa. Easy access to the nearby grocery store and restaurants. Management company was responsive to questions. Quiet neighborhood and wonderful view from the lanai.

Kitchen was well stocked with more than enough plates, equipment, etc. It was perfect for our family of 6 - 2 adults, 2 older kids who shared a queen, and 2 younger who shared the queen sofa bed. The upstairs bedroom is completely separate from the queen sleeper sofa area (on the pictures it wasn't clear there is a dividing wall). Fabulous communication from the property agent, and overall this could not have been better. Thank you!!!

This is the first time we stayed in Princeville…we usually stay in Poipu. The condo, Puamana unit 16B, was excellent and totally fit our needs for our family of four. Wonderful view of the golf course and ocean, and an easy drive to Anini beach. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was freshly remodeled, well equipped to handle all of our family’s needs and the view from the deck was amazing. The neighbor is a bit weird but kept to himself. Don’t let the lack of beach access from the property keep you from staying here.

Pictures don’t do the property justice. Space is freshly renovated and has beautiful views.

Mahalo for sharing the beautiful condo with us for a week. The place was clean, well stocked and homey. It rains quite a bit in Hanalei, so after a full 2 weeks previously in sunny Poipu, we enjoyed a little down time in the unit watching the rain, and then rainbows from the lanai with the beautiful ocean and golf course views. The unit was tastefully remodeled and as stated, very clean. The process for checking in/out was easy. No issues at all. We prefer Poipu, but we stayed in Hanalei due to a wedding...if we ever stay on that side again, we'll surely stay here again if available. Mahalo!!

Had a really nice experience here. Easy checkin/out. Clean, newly remodeled with nice floors and appliances. Nice view. The gentleman next door mentioned in previous review(s) did smoke occasionally but truly not frequently enough to ruin the experience. Thanks again we had a great time!

Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, window cranks didn't work but the place is getting a FULL renovation in fall of 2020 Im told so no biggie. Neighbour beside is super nice and lived there 30 years, say Hi if you stay here. Other side is rented out. I liked the place and would stay again, miss the island..
