Central position for everything Battle offers. Great outlook on to the Abbey. Well equipped. Everything like new. Very attractive bedroom. Great shower. Fastidiously clean

Some traffic noise, but goes with the territory of the central town position. Would not stop us going again

Lovely apartment for the three of us. Compact but with all amenities for our two nights. Great location and good instructions about arrival and departure.

Only thing that was a shame was the drain in the shower. It seemed to be blocked and filled the enclosure with water.

the location was perfect. There was some basics available tea, coffee and pods, sugar, S & P, glad wrap, foil, oil, loo paper, hand soap, shampoo! lots of blankets and towels. the central heating was perfect and the unit cute as a button! I would recommend this place to everyone!

It is in a perfect location right on the High Street and have an excellent view of the Abbey. It preserves the history of the cottage, is very nicely decorated, has a very comfortable shower.

There is no kitchen hood, smoke goes to the attic, which is the bedroom.

The location is great and it is such a great apartment. It is a home from home. Lovely and clean with the necessities one needs

Brilliant location, property decorated to a very high standard. Would definitely return.

Breakfast N/A Location good

Starts to front door hand rail finished before top of stairs. Stairs to bedroom no handrail. Therefore this property is not suitable for elderly people which we are.

Very nicely fitted out, good quality bedding, carpets etc. Built to good standard with attention to detail.

Bed could be bigger I’m 5’10 and my feet were through posts. Comfy bed though.

Great base for visiting surrounding area.

Situated right on the high street, was expecting so much traffic.

very clean, well-located functional accommodation for a couple that has been fairly been recently refurbished. It was ideal for a short break. Has a smart TV and good internet which allowed use of i-player and Netflix etc. Good shower

not much. Space is a little tight especially in the kitchen for any serious cooking with two cooks. A few more plates, cups and cutlery and glasses would be a bonus and would avoid having to wash up in multi-course meals. (to be fair there were basically four of everything) A reasonably sized teapot and a tray would also have been useful for morning tea in bed!

Great location and the property was spotlessly clean.

I did not get on with the pillows. Used both one and two but ended up with an aching neck.

Stairs to get in

Location is excellent for the Abby. Very central. Lovely view of the Abby. Just like in the add. If back in battle would definitely book it again. We were a bit delayed checking out and they were very accommodating.

Bedroom window could be double glazed as some noise from the road at peak times. Nevertheless we managed to sleep very well.

It was self catering

The apartment is small but comfortable and located very centrally in Battle, being easily accessible to other places of interest in the area. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and other essentials for a self-catering stay.

The apartment is located by the side of a main road leading through Battle to Hastings, and so the traffic noise is constant.

We had a lovely time in Battle and Abbey Nest provided us with a perfect base to explore the area. We loved the view out of the lounge window, especially when the abbey was lit at night. The accommodation itself was perfect for the 3 of us to stay. Thank you.
