Very clean and comfortable and quiet location

Lack of wardrobe no shelf in shower for soap /shampoo

Spacious open plan kitchen/living room and good sized bedrooms. Great location for visiting National Trust properties in the area. Plenty of choice for places to eat in Tenterden.

A really stylish and full of unique character and that it’s been re purposed from a barn to an apartment!

As a property for a couple it was great but did not really work for two couples.

Putting a bed in the entrance area was not ideal. Lack of privacy between the rooms.

Everything! The space and layout inside was fantastic, made for a perfect base to see the local area. we would love to go back in the future.

Nothing really. The only thing we could think of was that the fridge had seen better days (but worked ok) - but that really is nitpicking!

Very good facilities and very homely. Good location, short walking distance to the town.

great location. we picked it as visiting chapel down vineyard. which was very close by. it's a beautiful property and very clean, tidy and comfortable.

Lovely place, in a quiet area but so close to the main centre of Tenterden, with a lovely sitting area and wood burner.

Really disappointed to have to pay for wood for the woodburner when it was clearly a feature of the property, showing in the photos. Surely, providing enough wood for 1 fire, with firelighters or kindling wouldn't have been too much to do...? Also, we found it difficult to find the property in the dark - you need to look for the white hanging sign, not the property name which was impossible to see in the dark

The Host told us that we had broken the fridge but we did not the freezer door inside the Fridge was already broken when we arrived. They also said we broke the shower but it was working when we left.

A beautiful barn, very clean, very helpful owners. Perfect for a weekend of wine tasting.

Everything was great. From the directions, getting into the property, and the entire property itself. Fits 4 adults easily and with luxurious comfort.

Bed downstairs a little uncomfortable

Its a beautiful place, cosy, comfortable, lovely beams, huge television, log fire, comfortable bed, great shower, and really nice helpful hosts.

It was a 20 minute walk to the town, it was cold and wet, taxis are like gold dust, so I suggest you book the day before if you want one. In good weather it would be quite a pleasant walk.

Very good, just on the edge of Tenterden, plenty of dvd's, or online/netflix/sky for entertainment. Quirky timber building with plenty of lounging area.

Kitchen area could of done with a Microwave? A little bit of mould in the grouting of the shower low down, not that you'd notice until you'd sat on the WC and stared at it opposite you! Every where else was clean, tidy and great.

A real character building, comfortably and elegantly furnished. All mod cons, clean and quiet.

Location, beautiful property - barn conversion, quiet location but walkable into Tenterden. Very comfy bed. Excellent shower. Huge telly. Comfy sofas.

Would have liked to have seen a microwave. There was no hanging space for your clothes - only drawers. Could have used better towel rails to get towels dry if 2 of you are getting showered every day. Top end furnishings and fittings - but kitchen utensils cheap and tatty. Cutlery very cheap and strange numbers on plates and bowls. E.g. 2 double beds in the accommodation but only 3 cereal bowls. Only 3 stools at the breakfast bar. Only 4 side plates. Also, the hosts/or cleaners didn’t check the cleanliness of the cooking apparatus because in looking for a baking tray to heat our ready meals, I found a couple, and when I picked them up, got my hands covered in grease. You could see the marks that sausages cooked on the tray had left. Someone had not made much of an attempt to clean this properly, and the owners should check that their tenants have left the kitchen tools/utensils clean for their next tenants.

This was an ideal place to stay in a great location for Tenterden. Comfy bed and everything was super clean, with very welcoming and laid-back hosts. The only thing that would have improved the stay given that it’s a self-catering property would have been some sugar, a small bottle of milk and perhaps some basic cereals etc which have been provided at a number of similar places that we’ve stayed. However it was still a great place to stay and we’d happily stay again!

Some basic ‘welcome’ breakfast cereals, milk, sugar, etc would have made the offer even better.

Loved the space, all nicely furnished and well presented. A home from home. Very comfortable and just perfect for us.
