A warm and friendly welcome on arrival and an absolutely lovely clean and spacious room.
Excellent full and very tasty English breakfast (served with a smile) plus a buffet of cereals, pastries and fruit.
Fantastic location with free parking, a great flat walk to beach and plenty of pubs/restaurants etc.
We took our dog who was made to feel very welcome too.
We couldn’t fault a thing, highly recommended - we’ll never look for anywhere else to stay when we visit the area.

Great position and close to takeaway and laundry. The owner was considerate and allowed us the use the dining room for our takeaway.
Free parking was a bonus. Breakfast was excellent.

Bij 1 kamer was de badkamer zeer klein en bij de andere kamer zat de badkamer 1 verdieping lager.

This was a great place to stay with our group. Breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had all the facilities needed. It is in a quiet part of town - which was great as well.
It was tight to get our mini vans into the parking through the gates. There were no restaurants withing walking distance.

The staff are welcoming and the breakfast was lovely. The room had everything we needed for our stay and was big enough for the 4 of us. The bed was comfy and although it was a bigger building, there was no noise issues from other guests. The location was ideal, short walk from anywhere we wanted to go on each day.
The only thing less than ideal was the time for breakfast, being up so early with young children, we found 8.30am a long time to wait for our food.

We really enjoyed our stay at The George B&B. Had a really relaxing stay and was greeted by the hosts. We loved the breakfast. Will definitely be coming back.

The location is a little out of town which meant a bit of a walk for dinner and coming back again.
The shared bathroom was a good size with a small sink in the room too.

I think my room could have done with a bit of a decorative upgrade!

I liked the cosy room. Loved the morning full english breakfast. Staff was lovely. Good parking. Walkable distance to beach.
The room door was squeaky on use. Common washroom shower doesn't have item holder.

Breakfast was adequate. A few mistakes over orders occurred. The en suite was tiny but the room was large. The bed was a plank very uncomfortable
Our sleep was spoilt by the hard bed. Breakfast lacked adequate fruit choices. The room door lock was badly fitting and needed forcing

Location was excellent, it was clean and the owners friendly. Everything you want from an independently run b&b. They even had sanitary towels and take away cups you could put your hot drinks in in the room.
Our bathroom had a leak and the floor was blown and made the door stiff to open and close. Just needs a bit of TLC once sorted.

Lovely location. Loved the room really spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly.
Only that the shower was coming away from the wall but informed owner who said he go fix it as soon as we left.

Fabulous breakfast. I’m veggie and the full English without the meat was great. My partner always rated a breakfast on the quality of the hosts sausage (no euphemism intended) and she was not disappointed !
We were in the gods, guess someone has to be and radiator did not work. Not a criticism as when a asked a plug in radiator arrived. Shower up there difficult for tall people with sloping roof.

The staff and breakfast were exceptional and the staff were so keen to make us feel very welcome. Our room was off the Guests Lounge which was a bit strange and the bathroom was a bit cold but the room was large and clean and the bed very comfortable.

Lovely room - very spacious, clean and comfortable. Photos didn't do justice. Extremely hospitable and friendly staff who were very accommodating to our vegan diets with wonderful cooked breakfast and non dairy milk options.
Good location - walkable to the seafront and a few mins drive to the centre for evening meal options.
Highly recommend as an excellent value stay!

Lovely location, away from the louder seafront. Great parking (slightly tight squeeze through the drive entrance), but plenty of space once in. Very clean rooms. Lovely lounge area and breakfast room where we could bring takeaway food for evening meals. We had a shared bathroom, which was of no inconvenience at all actually.
Excellent choices of cooked food, pastries, and cereals. Fantastic cooking quality (compliments to the chef!). Very kind and accommodating hosts as well.
We didn't actually get any names of the hosts/staff at the B&B. it would have been nice to put faces to names. The mattress was a bit too soft for my liking. However, this didn't spoil our visit at all and would be happy to come back again.
