Our stay at Alendale was great lots of choices for breakfast Jamie and Nicola were great host's. Our room was spacious and very clean with on suite we had everything we needed for a lovely holiday.

Wonderful, friendly and warm family runs this small b&b in a traditional tiny townhouse, right in the middle of everything. In the morning the whole house smells of homecooked breakfast, and the owners Jamie and Nicola are very knowledgeable about the area and happy to give you tips on what to do. Jamie is also a bit of a fossil freak, so if you are interested in fossiling (this is after all the Jurassic Coast), he knows where to find them!

hosts were extremely welcoming, made you feel safe and comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good quality and catered for us as vegetarians. Room immaculate and has everything you need. Location was perfect, right on the seafront. We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

The Alendale was by far the best B&B I have stayed in for a long time;Jamie is very friendly but not in your face ,Nicola serves an excellent breakfast whatever you choose and good sized portions,it is very well situated with two good pubs behind it and town centre is an easy walk.

Very friendly hosts, wonderful location, very clean, breakfast was perfect for our needs. The guesthouse was exceptionally clean and comfortable and a great place to rest after walking the coast. The hosts were tremendously kind and provided helpful advice and maps for all our adventures in the area. Thank you!
