Owners are very kind and helped us with advice on where to eat, what to visit. They played with our kid and let us enjoy their garden.

The elderly couple managing the hotel were extremely friendly. We weren't able to come by car because it started snowing, but they accepted to drive us around and thanks to them we had an amazing weekend! The food was also lovely.

Good Japanese breakfast. The owner offered to drive us to the restaurant in the evening. Really nice!

1. The breakfast was spectacular 2. The pick up service was the best ever. Reminded me of my grandpa 3. You can fully be immersed in the Karuizawa forests 4. Welcome drink was awesome. The grape juice was marvelous 5. You can get a mini tour of Karuizawa from the pickup ride 6. Near hoshino resort so easy to get to popular places!! 7. You can walk to Hoshino onsen and the owners provide discount coupons and towels for bathing. 8. Best ever hotel. I have been to over 100 hotels over the world. Never have I written a review. Just the best EVER.

The hotel is cmall but very cozy. Location is great. Quiet and green area. Japanese style breakfast was amazing. All food was very delisious and cooked from the local products. Unlike as big hotels, here you can relax in silence.

The staff is vert welcoming and breakfast was superb. Has apple TV with netflex/Hulu and many more.

A little expensive. About 2000JPY too expensive per person in my opinion. No ashtray outside/inside the facility so a bit hard to smoke.

The staff at this BnB were lovely. A pickup/dropoff service on request, a fantastic Japanese style breakfast and a lot of green and flowers to accentuate the view. If you think this place is a "maybe", it's a "yes". Trust me. One warning though: if you are a very large foreigner, or you are not used to Japanese-sized rooms, the actual room may strike you as a little small. But they are larger than a business hotel, so it's not bad at all.
