Warm and comfortable cottage in a great town. Excellent condition and very well equipped. Great communication with Sarah. would definately book again.

Nothing...even the weather was kind to us !

The cottage is superb. Very clean, comfortable and warm. We were able to park very close (street parking) too. Lovely village, lots to see and do in the area. One room opens onto a narrow step to the stairs, the other has the landing outside the bathroom so we put the kids in that room.

Sarah was very accommodating throughout our stay, arranging for me to have access to the property from early on in the day. This alone made our stay so much more convenient due to the opening times of the event we were attending. Sarah was readily available to answer any questions and was always helpful.

I can honestly say I can think of nothing that I felt i'd missed out on during my stay.

Great modest space in a lovely spot. Ideal for exploring Melbourne.

Well, we will definitely be back!! The cottage was toasty warm and cosy, when we arrived late at night.....it was perfect for a romantic short break. It is perfectly located, well equipped, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The double bed was super comfy, the facilities, such as the large shower, were excellent. A lovely well equipped kitchen/diner was absolutely fine for rustling up our breakfast. We ate out at night but would find the kitchen perfectly adequate for cooking a meal, enough space and a good oven/hob....even a washing machine. The cottage location is just perfect....a few minutes walk down into town with gorgeous independent shops, cafes and restaurants. A good chinese takeaway is also close and fish and chip shop. We can recommend the pubs and restaurants and found the locals very friendly. There are some lovely walks and the cottage owner included useful literature on local walks. We particularly enjoyed the morning walk around Melbourne Pool, out of the cottage and turn left down Penn Lane. All in all, we fell in love with the town of Melbourne, and also with this cottage, and we cannot wait to go back!

The only downside, which is quite minor, was the awkward step from the main front bedroom to the bathroom....as I am if a certain age, I was worried about late night dashes to the loo and this step looked a bit precarious! We opted to sleep in the rear double bedroom and it was fine.....oooh and larger bath towels needed!

The property was outstanding, clean and comfortable. Well furnished kitchen and cosy living room area to relax in. Bathroom clean and excellent shower facilities. Would definately revisit when in area.
