beautiful hotel

A thoughtfully decorated hotel with impressive view of the Peña, close to the centre but sufficiently far from all the noise. Rooms are a good size, some with a private terrace (we got an upgrade) and breakfast is abundant. For international travellers, owner doesn’t speak English, not sure about the rest of the staff. Staff is very helpful overall.

The beds were rock hard but I got a mattress topper when requested which made it slightly better. There are tons of stairs in the hotel which wasn’t a problem for us, but something you should be aware of especially as the quickest way to the rooms through reception is often closed and you need to take the long way around.

The breakfast was a complete and delicious with an amazing view. Our villa was spacious with a view to the city and the monolith

The bedding was blankets only including a fitted bottom blanket. Sheets wood have made the bed far more comfortable. A kettle or coffee maker would be bonus

The breakfast was very good, but the great surprise was that they made dinner for us. The dinner was excellent and reasonably priced.

We loved everything about this hotel. It's a wonderland of terraces & gardens filled with art & potted plants in amazing containers. A true place to relax & enjoy the fantastic view of the mountain. The food is excellent & Tony is a delight. We'll come back to Bernal just to stay here & visit with Tony.

The owner is the sweetest, most helpful person (and so is her staff). I really can't say enough good things about this boutique hotel. The breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed the tour they recommended for us, and the beds were comfortable. Can't beat the view! I ordered the romantic package, so the bed came with rose petals and towel swans. So fun!

Loved everything! The breakfast was so good and excellent meditation session with Tony. The view of the Pena de Bernal was extraordinary

Everything about the hotel was perfect. We loved the location just outside of town, up on a hill with incredible views of Peña de Bernal and the surrounding mountains. Tony was amazingly hospitable, and we loved her morning meditation sessions and her passion for doing everything possible to make her guests happy. We especially enjoyed the private walk around the base of Peña de Bernal with her husband Ervin and their friendly dog, Negrita. Everything was comfortable and magical, and every staff member had a smile for us. Special thanks to Miguel, who rode his motorcycle to the property from who knows where and climbed up the wall and onto my balcony to open my room door from inside when I locked my keys in like the utter moron that I am.

There was absolutely nothing not to like about this magical place, but if you have mobility issues, this hotel might not be for you — there are a lot of stairs everywhere.
