Lage
Ich bin 43, und bin schon so viel gereist. Hin und wieder auch mal kleinere Enttäuschungen erlebt und noch so gut wie keine negative Bewertung abgegeben,aber dieses Hotel toppt alles.
Absolute Katastrophe. Null Service, gegen Aufpreis bekommt man natürlich Service. Kein bereitgestelltes Wasser, inklusive Frühstück bedeutet, man bekommt einen Kaffee und einen Fruchtsaft.( nur eine Geschmacksrichtung) Etwas Essen (z.b. Brot, Käse, Marmelade, usw. Kostet alles Aufpreis. Was bedeutet dann „Frühstück inbegriffen“ ? Zimmer, Handtücher und Bettwäsche stinken muffig. Absolut keine Weiterempfehlung und eine Frechheit für diesen Preis in diesem Land. Da macht die Lage (direkt am Strand) die negativen Punkte auch nicht wieder gut. Verstehe auch die ganzen guten Bewertungen auch nicht. Wahrscheinlich gekaufte positive Bewertungen. Alles andere eine Farce. Wer sich gerne abzogen lässt ist hier goldrichtig.

Beachfront was good tried to maintain privacy , could of had a more open view to the sea for this unit. It did get overwhelming with the large families there
The structure itself was beautiful and I loved the thatched roof.

Needed more hangers and space for putting suitcases and clothes. A clothes line for hanging swimming suits

El Hotel es muy bonito en general, estuve en la Cabaña 5 que se encuentra en la parte alta, la vista es increíble hacia la Playa, las escaleras para subir podría ser que les falte remodelación, el resto está muy bien.
El baño que se encuentra afuera para uso general cuando estás en la playa, está en muy malas condiciones, está oscuro y muy pequeño, no tiene lavamanos, ese si le hace falta arreglar.

Es tranquilo el lugar , la decoracion y la ubicacion muy cerca de la playa , es un sitio muy tranquilo para pasar la noche , tiene un plus al tener un restaurante propio para los huespedes , me gusto que sea petfriendly fue uno de los motivos por los cuales escogimos este sitio
La atencion fue muy basica no habia indicaciones de a quien dirigirse , no habia como tal una recepción para dudas o preguntas , el espacio de la habitacion era muy pequeño , no habia atencion al cliente en general falta de servicio al cliente y los espacios de la habitacion

The food and cocktails were delicious and the staff wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the location excellent and the outside grounds kept very nicely.
Price for quality was horrible. Even for a place on the beach side it shouldn't be more than 100 US (in fact it would only be worth 40 to 50 bucks except for that). The room smelled like mold. The shower only dripped, there was no drinking water provided, no explanation of wifi, no clear reception for checking in/or who to ask questions. All of which is fine when you pay less. The price for food is also very high but it makes sense because the whole town has to truck in their supplies from elsewhere.

The AC in the room was in the bathroom area and is too small for the size of the room so quite hot.

Great location at the quiet end of el Cuyo. Small pool to rinse off by the room. Yummy food & breakfast. Lots of beach loungers and hammocks.
Fairly basic room with only beds no chairs, triple garden room was not super private—could hear and see everyone/everything coming and going. Adequate but not exceptional nor especially friendly service from staff. No complimentary drinking water. Other groups were quite loud and it’s all very close quarters. If you’re looking for a more peaceful stay, find a private apartment or house near this location.

THE BEACH WAS NICE.
THE BED WAS NOT GOOD, OLD AND RUSTY ROOM. BROKEN WALLS, VERY NOISY. BREAKFAST WAS NOT GOOD, STAFF IN THE MORNING VERY RUDE. I HAD TO UPGRADE MY ROOM TO BE COMFORTABLE.

El Cuyo is a remote village, perfect to relax, with few activities available, but kite surfing. When we were there, it was extremely windy particularly in the afternoon, but we still enjoyed walking on the beach and swimming in the morning. Nearby tours of the salt lakes and las Coloradas are well worth doing. The village does not have many shops or attractions, but locals will all be most helpful and welcoming. Sunsets from the pier are epic.

The site is in front of the beach, it is beautiful to see through the window. It is one of the best beaches in Mexico. The breakfast is quite good and the attention is excellent
There was a day and part of the night that the electricity failed. We know it can happen. The site has power plant but only works for common areas. Without electricity, the heat is a bit strong to be able to sleep well

It was steps to the beach. The breakfast was good and you got to choose from a small menu so it was freshly made and had variety.
The king suite is on the bottom floor, so if there is anyone upstairs, you can hear everything. There is a large uncovered window that will wake you up early in the morning. The room, although very clean, was very small. The other rooms right on the beach seemed much nicer.
I couldn't tell who was in charge. Like who to check in with or check out with. So very casual, but it would be helpful to have identified someone in case of questions.
