It is a simply furnished but comfortable house just a few minutes from Chester, and was exactly what we wanted for the weekend. We had no trouble parking outside. We really appreciated that he owners kept in touch before and during our stay to make sure that everything was fine for us.

An electic fan was provided for the hot weather which were grateful for. Beds were comfy and we slept well.

There was a large hole in the wall in bedroom 2. The host smelt musty/damp when we arrived. The hob on the cooker didn't seem to work. A welcome pack would have been nice.

We had a lovely stay at the property. Great location as a base for exploring the area. Lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the property. Would definitely stay again.

Great quiet location with shops, restaurants and cafes on the doorstep. Everything you may need supplied, I e. Iron, ironing board, clothes horse. Comfy, large rooms and beds too.

A minor detail but the front window sills could do with sanding and painting. It doesn't reflect the neat interior and first impressions are also important.

Lovely property, very comfy beds. Great communication from the hosts, few minor issues we had were dealt with.

The living room was a bit squashed. And there were no cleaning products in the house apart from washing up liquid.

The step up from the bathroom is an accident waiting to happen! If you tripped up it you may fall straight down the stairs! Perhaps a stair gate may help.

This was the perfect place for our stay in Chester. Two households, 3 adults and 3 children. The house was spotless, nicely decorated and comfortable. Lovely bedding and towels, and comfy beds. Everything we needed in the kitchen. It was lovely and quiet round about and we had no trouble parking. The house is in a great location, walking distance from Chester city centre, and just 10-15 minutes drive to Chester zoo. There were also some lovely shops and cafés and a small supermarket just around the corner. Would highly recommend!
