It was awesome we loved it. Great views. Perfect location for keeping our boat in the marina and heading out for a day of fishing.

We enjoyed being outside of town, but that it was still in walking distance from the Crows Nest and the views of the sunsets were beautiful. We booked the property for another stay a few days after returning home.

My family and I had an amazing weekend at Cape Charles! The crows Nest was perfectly nestled in the marina and allowed us to see a beautiful sunset every night and fishing in the marina at leisure. We golf carted around the island and ate amazing food and enjoyed local shopping. We rented a boat for a few hours, tanned on the beach, and found treasures on the sand during our walks. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Thank you for allowing us to rent this perfect place to enjoy an amazing town!

We loved this little gem. First time in the area and we got to see a lot. My only recommendation for the owner is to have some fans available for both inside and out.

The title of the listing said it perfectly. Sunsets here were amazing and we had our own private viewing on the deck. We love Cape Charles, have been several times. This time was unique, being at the marina, still very close to town, above a great restaurant with many other dining options close by

Overall had had good time and great view but there were a couple things..
The deck tends to get super hot mid day..hard to sit out there after 10 am until the evening.
Downstairs restaurant has music until 11 and can be tough to sleep.
Upstairs HVAC is a portable unit and tends to be loud and noisy

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Crows Nest! We loved the layout and decor of the apartment and especially enjoyed the deck with a wonderful view. It was very convenient to rent the golf cart directly from the owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crows Nest and I plan to return.

This place is perfect for two couples. Golf was close by, the town walking distance. Great restaurant downstairs. Place was clean and well maintained. Golf cart was a huge plus to get around. Will definitely be coming back!

I think I said this in my last review but if you like boats this is the place for you. We love sitting outside watching the boats come and go. Walking to the Shanty is quick and easy. We would much rather stay here than right in the town.
The property was clean enough but I feel like it really can use a deep cleaning. There’s lots of lovely decorations that seem to catch a lot of dust and hair.
We plan on coming back in a few years and staying here again.

My only complaint is that I wish our stay was longer! We got in naps on the deck and woke up to the sights and sounds of the marina, very cool experience.

We love this spot and love the location. It was nice to have the golf cart because we did not have that last year. However, we still couldn't get the stove working
(again), the lock box to get the golf cart out was the incorrect code and the tire on the golf cart had a leak. Luckily, we got an air compressor, so we were able to fill it up a couple of times and still use the cart.

We had nasty weather but our nest was perfect. The views from inside were terrific. The bed comfortable and an easy drive to town to enjoy a variety of restaurants. We always love looking at boats and wonderful sunsets.

My wife and I, along with another couple rent this place every year. It never disappoints! From our first sunset with drinks on the deck, to dinner at Hook at Harvey, the fishing, and the days spent in town at the many fine establishments. Cape Charles is a beautiful town with much to offer and the Crows Nest is the best place to take advantage of this amazing little town.

This is the perfect escape from Virginia Beach. Crossing the BBT is just enough to make you feel like you are on vacation far, far away! The Crow’s Nest is beautiful, sunsets are stunning, and Hook at Harvey is a wonderful. Can’t wait to visit again.

Great place… great views! I had a wonderful time with my family. We could hear the bar below, which wasn’t an issue for us at all, it stopped promptly at 11, but we are all adults. I’m not sure if I’d want to stay with young children. Overall great experience and I’d stay again.

This was our first stay in Cape Charles and it was so delightful. We felt like we had the best place in town! It is a 2 minute drive from the main part of town but we didn’t mind that at all. Many people rent golf carts and drive all over town with them, but we were fine driving our car. The house is the only property in the marina so it has a secluded, peaceful feel. The views from the deck are lovely. The house itself is clean, updated, and well decorated. We just loved it! I read other comments about noise from the restaurant and just wanted to add that it didn’t bother us at all.

Stayed at the Crow's Nest for a girl's weekend with my childhood bestie. It's clean, cute, and perfectly located. Do yourself a favor and rent the golf cart as well. Less than a 5 minute drive to every attraction and you'll never have an issue parking. The owners are super nice and very responsive. Get reservations and eat at Ambrosia. You will thank me. I'm already looking at dates to book again.

Had a great experience at the crows nest. Apartment was just as pictured. Clean and comfortable with amazing sunset views. We walked to town for breakfast and had the most amazing dinner at the hook @ Harvey right below us. Thanks to the wonderful hosts!

Crows Nest was the perfect spot for our girls getaway. It’s a short distance to Main Street and you have the option of renting the golf cart that’s on premises for your stay, which was so convenient. It sits above Hook and Harvey restaurant which is also very convenient. I would highly recommend Crows Nest if you plan to visit Cape Charles.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Crow’s Nest. Our favorite spot was the deck for coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings to enjoy the sunset. Cozy, nicely decorated and perfect for our visit to Cape Charles!

We so enjoyed our stay at The Crows Nest. Our host was amazing in getting someone out right away to fix the a/c that wasn't working properly. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Be sure to make a reservation for dinner at Hook @ Harvey located downstairs. Highly recommend this property for a couple or a of a family of 4.
