Pros: the location was nice and very close to the beach. Having dedicated parking and easy to use thermostat was great. Also having smart tvs is a good perk. Back yard area was nice and washer and dryer were very nice to have. Cons: Bathroom was poorly lit, no fan that appears to have caused a sagged ceiling, only one washcloth but four towels, and there was hair on the floor next to the vent. The claw foot tub really should be mentioned though because some people would have a very hard time getting in and out (mentioned in other reviews). The bedroom steps are pretty hazardous, mostly the smaller top one. The bed was very uncomfortable and made a lot of noise. The door to the laundry doesn't even fit right and was hard to close even most of the way. Check out requiring starting laundry is pretty unconventional.

Quick and easy access to promenade! Nice, quiet area. Really appreciated having the other half of property empty for added privacy & quietness. Will DEFINETELY stay here again!

Loved the location. Very nice accommodations for two. The only negative is the tub/shower arrangement for someone not to agile.

My partner, toddler and I stayed here for 2 nights. Overall, it was good for our family. It is in a great location, just a few minutes walking distance from the beach and by some great restaurants. The couch and bed were comfortable and we liked having a TV in the room. Our only issues were with the cleanliness and the bathroom/hot water. There is no fan in the bathroom, only one washcloth we could find and the hot water lasts only about 5 minutes, which is inconvenient for a family especially if you’re getting back from the beach. There was a safety concern when we found some sort of pill/medication on the floor of the bedroom, where our toddler could’ve gotten ahold of it.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property but this time around it was just my best friend and I. We celebrated my birthday as well as a moms weekend! Staying here previously was just perfect for what we wanted so I knew we had to book the location again. Accessing the house was a nice upgrade! And everything is super close by within walking range to downtown. Nothing could have made this big girl sleepover better. It was wonderful!

The property itself is okay, the couch is uncomfortable, the bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom with the claw tub had no fan, a very loose toilet seat, a unseen sudden stepdown and is border line unfunctional. There was no "private deck" with gate as pictured. The check out procedure was quite odd with such things as starting laundry for all the bedding and towels (which the door to laundry in the bedroom was utterly destroyed), starting the dishwasher and emptying all the trash cans and taking them to an outside receptacle implying that not doing so may result in extra fees... We had called to inquire about early check in as we arrived in town and were met with an extremely dismissive lady who made it seem like we were asking too much (it is an option to call if you do come in early, not sure why you would have it as an option for the check in procedure and then be rude when people call you about it) she also told us they were still working on the room and that she would call and let us know when it was done, which she never did, we had even drove passed the house prior to inquiring and no one was there. The decorations were fitting and well done, the TVs were a good touch and did have Netflix signed in and ready to go as well as board games which was good for mornings and nights between beach going and activities, the house itself is in a good location and is close to all the going-ons of downtown. We would not be staying here again. The place has potential but unfortunately was not a pleasant stay for us.

We are from Phoenix, so this beach house was the perfect getaway for us to enjoy cooler temperatures, greenery and water. The house is close to all the attractions, within walking distance to the beach and downtown eateries. The property is a duplex, but the owners graciously leave the property so that tenants can have exclusive use of the driveway and back yard.

Beautiful property, right next to the ocean and shops! Check in and check out procedures were seemless. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Easy to rent and we were allowed to check in before 4, which we appreciated very much. It would be a good thing if you mention something about the claw foot tub. While very quaint, it is very tall and sloped in the middle. If you rent to anyone much older or more debilitated, the tub is a fall hazard. I felt like I'd best not move around in there too much as I felt unstable. Difficult to reach soap and feet without moving. A walk in shower could be installed and it would be much safer for your guests. For longer stays, pots and pans would be helpful. Loved the patio and garden! We sat out there a few times. Closet is not functional with the wall for the hot water tank in the way. You have to be pretty thin to get in there. Trimming the doors down would be helpful. Loved the walls and decor. All in all with a couple problem areas, it was a good little rental.

It was great staying there. Except the shower the hot water only last 5 mins. So if there are two people. One takes a shower, for 5mins the other has to shower in cold water. Other than that our stay was good. Location to the town and board walk is great. Thank you.

We were very pleased with the whole process from booking to accessing. Very happy about the location, being able to walk to the shops and beach easily, was such a nice treat. Clean and cozy, with really cute decorations. We'll stay again for sure!

Overall this was a great location and nice accomodations. If I am being really nitpicky I would say that it'd be great if there were basic condiments like salt and pepper available. And a baking sheet. And maybe dryer sheets. We enjoyed our stay here and the proximity to the beach. Much is within walking distance so we could park the car and leave it. It was really quiet in the evenings. And if am really nitpicky again I'd say it would be great if there was an ottoman for the sofa. That all said even without those suggestions, I would stay here again.

Steps into the bedroom include a short 1/2 step before the three normal size step down to the bedroom. Both of us forgot about the 1/2 step which could cause tripping. The claw bathtub is hard to get into and out - something to be aware of, especially for seniors.

This was a good place to stay. Very convenient location, just a couple of blocks to the promenade and nice evening and morning walks there or on the beach. Close walk or bike ride to nice local restaurants. A bit close to some large hotels, but this didn't have much of an impact on the stay. The decor is a bit cheesy. All in all, a great space and a great location. I'd stay there again.

Close to the beach! Loved having the grill. Pots have no lids and the microwave shelf isn’t secured! Be careful;) very comfortable bed and nice linens.. the tub is a claw foot- pretty cool! Loved the google/nest/roku set up! Easy check in/check out process... nice beach amenities in closet! Umbrella, beach chairs, beach wagon, beach toys, etc. great stay!

Our original trip to the beach on Mother’s Day was cancelled due to COVID so we decided to give it another shot during Labor Day Weekend. We were not disappointed! For our little family of 3 - this space was just what we needed. The house was cozy and perfect. We really loved the fact that it’s close to the beach and walking distance to the heart of Seaside. We will be staying here again for our next vacation!

This was the perfect little house for my husband and I. Short walk from the beach, to the shops or restaurants. Very clean and relaxing.

The property was good sized for my wife and our niece who stayed with us this weekend. Our niece specifically enjoyed the rope swing out back! The beach is a short direct walk from the house, and has an accessible hose to wash your feet off after a sandy walk. It is also about 15 minutes (walking) from the bulk of Downtown Seaside which is awesome because parking anywhere in town is very challenging. Our only critical feedback is that the house offers only basic cooking supplies. Reheating leftovers was a challenge because only one metal pan was available and no foil was provided. As an added touch, I think having a set of crab crackers would be nice as well (we were going to order crab from a restaurant and realized we didn't have a way to break it open). While normally I wouldn't care, Seaside is a crabbing town so its very easy to get your own crab. Highly recommend you stay here!
