Easy access house was clean and had a lot of space

Overall the property is very nice. The great room and electric fireplace are awesome and all rooms very clean and fresh. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen has most everything you need, just needs a little updating, except for appliances, they are new and very nice. The bedrooms and bathroom need privacy shades. Other than these minor details, the cottage is great and is in a perfect location.

Owner helpful with messages and guest portfolio. Maintenance not what we expected. It’s a camp. Beds are not good if you have any back issues. Had basics.

Absolutely perfect home for a family with little kids. Plenty of space for everyone and plenty of beds! Great location to the lake beach and shopping/food! Definitely coming back again next year! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Very roomy, nice location

It was a great little cozy place for a quick overnight stay.

My friends and I had a great time here. The place was amazing, the pictures don't do it justice. I would definitely come back in nicer weather to take advantage of the grills and firepit in the back yard.

We had a good experience and appreciated Janell’s flexibility. Due to a major winter storm, we reached out last minute and we’re able to go up the day before for a nominal fee for the extra night. Unfortunately, the checkin process was a bit bumpy because the incorrect street number and lockbox codes were provided for her house next door. Once we straightened that out and got into our house, all was good. As far as amenities, the only thing we would suggest is additional flatware and serving bowls for the kitchen. Other than that, it would have been cozy if the gas fireplace was working. All in all, we had a good comfortable stay!

There were a few problems, TV went a little crazy but this was resolved. Lamps didn't work and one was broken. Nothing big I would recommend highly.

we rented the house to stay and celebrate my brothers bachelor party. everyone loved it and were all pleased to have their own bed and we greatly enjoyed the lit up back yard and the full use of a complete house. the location was great as it was an enjoyable walk into downtown to the strip and a close drive to just about anything we wanted to do in town. we pretty much walked everywhere we could and it was easy to find our way to and from the cabin. we took a boat tour on the lake which i highly recommend there are numerous different boats and tours available. we would gladly rent this place again in the future. the owners answered all of our questions and had a great list of activities to do in lake george in the binder in the house. all in all it was a great sty everyone absolutely loved it. my brother is ecstatic and that’s what i was looking for. thank you for allowing us to use your house for our stay.

Only booked for one overnight. Great space and comfortable. We would definitely book this property for a longer stay

Spacious enough for a large group and we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. The large backyard was great for hanging out in. It was convenient being able to walk to all of the places we were interested in visiting. Thank you for letting us spend the weekend at your house!

Easy to communicate with owner

We had a great time while we stayed at this property. The place was very clean and well taken care of. It was less than five minutes outside of town, which was nice for sightseeing. Even though it rained for most of our vacation, we still were able to make use of the fire pit outside which was fun. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed for cooking. We also enjoyed all of the games that were available during our rainy day in. There was only one downfall to this property and it was that the beds were very uncomfortable. My girlfriend and I slept in the second bedroom and the bed was too soft. Anytime one of us moved the other was woken up which was kind of a bummer. The other couple that went with us said that the master was the same. If the beds were replaced, we would definitely stay again.

Loved the backyard lights and fire pit. Master bathroom was perfect.House was great but a few small details would make it better. The garbage can lid was broken, the dishwasher and fire place didn't work, and neither did the living room TV remote (power on and off). Not a huge deal but making the investments on improvements would really tie the house together. Beds and couches are not the most comfortable - the beds also seemed small for the size of the house. The biggest issue we had was feeling a huge lack of privacy due very thin curtains in the bedrooms. We had to hang towels over the windows to feel more comfortable since there's another rental next door that can probably see right in. Regardless of the small details, this is a wonderful and spacious house. Great for large and small families, walking distance to a couple restaurants and only a couple minutes away from the town. Would stay here again!

Entry door lock is not easy to use.Bed mattress are not comfortable and the one's in bedrooms are very small( because its spring bed, difficult to sleep)Other than this property was good, neat and clean. All things were there.

The place was spacious and close to the village. The couches should be replaced. The pans also. The dishwasher didn’t work, so we bought paper plates, cups, etc. Overall it’s a homey place to stay. With a few minor upgrades, it could be a lot nicer

The first thing is we drove so far to go to Lake George we had to get up very early to drive for 4 hours and we got there like 2 almost 3 we hope we need to rest we can move stuff to the house but we can’t and we understand about the rule we have to check-in 4 pm I think It's Really late because you want guest check out 10 a.m so it's a long day to waiting for cleaning a.d supper early to Check out Second, no have any service in house plastic bags for the garbage we have to buy it by my self no plastic wraps or ziplock for any kind or something Should have the Paper Towels House is for 10 PPL but any kind of this has only one!!! And last... We have to clean all everything even you included cleaning fee already We are so clean about kitchen and dishwasher but in a guide book t They want we took all the garbage move the sheet, towel too So what the cleaning fee for I mean another house to a stay like this they have kitchen stuff garbage bags plastic wrap includes and we did dishwasher all tIme clean kitchen, not a lot to clean but this once seems like want to clean and take garbage in a bathroom anyway It's a very nice house to stay and closed to the beach but not happy f To buy something for the house that host supposed to have it for guest Thank you
