We are a group of 7 girls who decided to spend a weekend in a quiet place in the mountains. When 4 of us arrived in the afternoon and called the person who was responsible to give us the keys, he informed us that we need to drive to a coffee shop (10’ far from the house) to find someone else to give us the keys. When we arrived at the coffee shop, they told us that this man was not there, he was in a place close to our house so we needed to go back and find him there. Finally, we did find him (!!) and he led us to the house where he told us that he isn’t the responsible person for our stay, but just someone who is giving the keys to guests. He also provided us with two woods for the fireplace, since there wasn’t any in the house, although the owner was supposed to provide us with some. When we entered the house, we found a glass of wine on the balcony and an ashtray with cigarette butts. The whole house was not clean at all. It was full of dust, the cutlery were greasy and there were small rubbish under the sofa. The bathrooms were not sparkling clean and there were cobwebs all around the house. The worst of all was a baby cot in the corridor which was messy with dirty linen and a towel in it. The heating system was not working properly since the house was always cold even though the heating was on for most of the time. After we left the house, I have emailed the property through booking.com to ask about the deposit that we haven given to them before our arrival. They assured me that I will have the money back by the end of the week. To make it brief, the deposit was returned to me after a whole month and after lots of messages asking for the reason of the delay. When I received the deposit, it was less than the expected and when I asked for the remaining amount, they have just returned the remaining amount without an apology. We don’t recommend this property since we are really disappointed of the way they handle their guests.
