Perfect house to walk to the town for meals and fun. We enjoyed this old house so much.

Great spot and location, very cozy

This place was great for a quick getaway! Close to restaurants and shops, but set in a quiet neighborhood. House was very clean. Had a wonderful time exploring Eau Claire and staying in this home.

This is an old house built in the late 1800’s. Upon opening the door, we were hit with a dank, musty, moldy smell that permeated the entire house. This house has OLD windows so we dared open only one for fear of breaking it or not being able to get it closed again. We could not get rid of this oder. I woke up every morning with burning lungs and feeling sick. I didn’t think we could get a refund so we toughed it out until the last night when we couldn’t take it any more and found other accommodations. Upon notifying the owner or property manager of the situation, she was defensive and refused to refund any part of what we spent for this house. It’s a shame because a lot of care has been taken to decorate and furnish this home. It really is cute and you can walk to town and the river in about 10-15 minutes. It was clean and the kitchen fully stocked with plates, utensils, etc. The other negatives: 1. We were supposed to receive information the morning of our check in on how to check into the house. I had to call at 6 PM to get this information. I guess they forgot. 2. There is no dishwasher in the kitchen. 3. There is no garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. 4. I don’t know how safe this neighborhood is because on the last day that we were there, a weird guy was sleeping or passed out on the front lawn of the house and one of the neighbors called the police to get rid of him. This is something you don’t want to see on vacation. The neighbors had a wrecked car and a lots of trash and junk in their yards, so that is the view from the kitchen window, although there is a partial fence that hid some of it. If the owner addresses and corrects the moldy smell, the house would be fine. I love old houses. I have stayed in many old hotels and B&B’s and have never experienced this.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location was great for exploring Eau Claire and super walkable. The space was so well done. I haven’t stayed at a vacation rental with such nice decor and we enjoyed spending down time there.

The neighbor was very safe feeling, the house was super cute, and the bed in the larger bedroom was extremely comfortable!! Will definitely be revisiting in the future.

Friend and I met halfway between our individual homes to spend a couple days to watercolor paint. Have a wonderful time in a very comfortable and well located lower flat.

I brought my daughter for a belated 40th Birthday trip. My best friend, her daughter and family live in the area, so we spent much special time with them. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a "home away from home" experience. The beds were super comfy too! I highly recommend! 1

This place is great. The location to the river/downtown area was great. The decor was amazing, the place was spotless. The home is older which only added character with the wood floors and woodwork. We had everything we needed. We didn’t hear the people upstairs, and parking was good. The front porch was a great place for sitting, and we had deer come right up to the porch!

We had a great mini mom get away! Eau Claire was a central location for the 3 of us and it did not disappoint! Very happy with our stay!

Great accommodations. Very clean; beautifully decorated; and very comfortable. There was water in the fridge and a good set of pots/pans, as well as a great set of knives. We enjoyed ourselves on the nearby trails. Great place to stay.

Our family wanted to stay and check out some things near Eau Claire before we made our way to Wisconsin Dells. This place was perfect. We all had just enough space to hang out as a family or get away in another room to read. We could not get this setup in a hotel room. We had a great time being together.

I rented this property for my boudoir mini shoots! The house is beautiful and so cozy! All of the women said that this house was so comfortable and they all felt very at home!I stayed here over night in between my sessions and it was very a comfortable and quiet stay! This lovely home is a treasure! Quiet music was playing as I entered, soft lighting in the living room, everything meticulously clean. The beds and bedding are extremely comfortable and welcoming. And I appreciated all the thoughtful extras: coffee, tea, bottled water and soda, plentiful towels, cozy robes, plush throws, and so on. I look forward to another stay!

Downtown Eau Claire was a pleasant surprise to us, and this cool remodeled home was in a great location walking distance from downtown and across the street from a paved bike trail that is a great way to get around the city.The house is an older one that has already undergone a lot of updates and remodeling and it appeared that more work was being done on the exterior and on the landscaping.Hardwood floors are everywhere and the house features lots of ornate woodwork combined with framed photos and cool decorating. It's very roomy and comfortable, with two bedrooms including a huge master. This was a great place to relax for a week and enjoy downtown Eau Claire's riverfront, parks, shops, bike and walking trails.

The location was great! Walking distance to so many things. The house had a subtle old house smell but was charming with very modern decor. Super cute. Plenty of towels, comfy beds and even coffee! It was perfect for what we needed. The ice cream place A block away was delicious and the Book/gift store down the street was fun shopping. Be sure to go on the front porch at night to see the lighted bridge!
