The accommodation is perfect. A lot of space and two comfortable beds. The shower works well and the dishwasher + washing machine is an ideal combination for a longer stay. The host even helped me with de-icing the windows of my car. (thanks again!) I am returning for sure!

Bridget our host was waiting for us when we arrived. She provided freshly baked bread and scones, along with butter, milk, and free range eggs, all of which were gladly received. It's a quiet, rural location, but only minutes from Ashbourne and the motorway into Dublin. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was nice and clean. We had a really nice time there and a warm welcome from a lovely lady whos name is Bridget. She even made us some nice freshly baked bread for the morning when we arrived.

The noices from upstairs/ floors from upstairs woke us up a few times at 7 a.m. The rest was perfect.

Beautiful house, clean and comfortable. So close to Tatyo Park and also not far away from Jump Zone in Liffy Valley shopping centre .The closed in back garden was such a bonus for the children and so safe for my toddler to explore herself. Such a nice touch to provide a fruit bowl,eggs and lovely scones & bread, Bridget & Tom are lovely people and there if you need anything at all and if you don't you wouldn't even know they lived next door . Swallows Rest will 100% be my go to accommodation for any future stays in this part of the country.

Bridget was so friendly and helpful during our stay! She met us with keys and showed us around. We had everything we needed. She even let our young kids feed her pet rabbit! The facilities were excellent. Clean, modern and comfortable. Close to tayto park, the ark puddenhill, and nit too far from funtasia.

We stayed for 5 night with our 4 year old as we were going to tayto park and decided to stay for a few days. Bridget was so nice, nothing was a problem, she left our daughter see their little bunny and gave us plenty of advice on what to do in the area.

What a fabulous place.

Everything was wonderful.

Very clean, quiet place with a private garden, a super friendly landlord and everything you could possibly wish for! It is marvelous, book it and see for yourself! Yes, it is a bit remote but everything you need is within 8-15 minutes of driving range. Dublin is near, you have good access to the north city by car, and you can opt for public transport to get to the city. Next stop is quite a distance, so you are better off with a car and park'n'ride. Two dogs on property, both very friendly and well behaved.

Swallows Rest Garden Apartment exceeded our expectations for sure . I can highly recommend this place , the rooms were big and clean and the beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to get up. There is nothing to not like in this place . To be honest it was the best stay we have had so far and we definitely will be back . The owner of this lovely place Bridget was so nice and kind ,she looked after us better than the 5 star hotels.

It felt like home, the bed was incredible! The duvet was snuggly warm. Great 2 bed apartment. Bridget & Tom are super hosts and we would highly recommend them. There was a beautiful bunch or lilies there on arrival, fresh fruit that lasted up the stay and the most amazing baked goods. It truly was a wonderful welcome.

This property was perfect for our family. We were travelling with two toddlers so the private garden was great. A short drive to Ashbourne and Tayto Park.

Everything was absolutely beautiful. The apartment was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Absolutely Everything you need is provided. We were welcomed with tasty scones and homemade brown bread and treats on arrival ….and their own farm eggs ..! Bridget is a lovely lady , so helpful and kind . It is only minutes from Tayto park and 30 mins from Dublin City . Would highly recommend.

The best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Bridget was wonderful, the house had everything you could possibly need and more. Lovley welcome basket of fresh produce, include free range eggs from their own hens. We were going to tayto park and it was just a 5 minute drive away. We will definitely be back and i will recommend this place to all my family and friends as it is ideal for family get aways and much better than a hotel.

Beautiful apartment, host was very helpful and provided amazing home made brown bread and cake on arrival along with other essentials. This was an ideal apartment for my two young children, great outdoor area.

The wifi was a bit patchy, may be due to location.

What an excellent and genuine Home from Home place this is. Bridget the host could not have been more friendly and helpful and we had Scones, Bread, Fruit, Milk, Jam, Marmalade and fresh eggs left for us. The location was perfect for us and very well priced - Although we travel for work a fair bit I do appreciate when I stumble upon a real gem of a place and this is right up there. Our only regret is that we didn't realise we would be staying in Ashbourne longer than the 5 nights we booked & so when we tried to extend our stay it was already taken. Thanks Bridget you have a lovely property.

We was feeling like a special quests... the host was welcomed us with things baked in the their kitchen, fresh fruit, delicious eggs from their own farm and the house is amazing. If someone wants to forget about noise and rush life, we recommend Swallow's Rest Garden House...
