We were very impressed with the accommodation. The home was clean and well equipped. We were provided with “starter” consumables but we knew that from the start so brought our own. We did have a problem with bees in one of the bedroom, but luckily there were enough beds to accommodate all of us and we just closed off that room. It was reported and we were assured it would be looked after. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home.

Love the location and the view of the water! Especially the front porch was beautiful to watch the sunrise every morning! Our family had a great time and was wonderful to spend time all together. Beaches are close by and took some day trips. Would love to back again!

The house was a perfect location of wanting to visit the falls, but still have a feel of a vacation home. The porch was our favorite to hang out in the morning enjoying our breakfast. Great experience and stay!

This cottage was truly a remarkable place to stay. It is only 30 min to Niagara Falls so we were able to go two days. Niagara Falls is crowded and the cottage was our place to decompress after walking and interacting with alot of people. The sunrise between 5-5:30 am is truly amazing. We loved it!

Can't beat the location of this property - absolutely stunning!!
Our feedback as a group was that the house is a bit dated and could use a face-life including rooms where the light switches were taped off (not sure why).
Biggest thing to know in advance is that there are NO basic toiletries included - bring your own soap, toilet paper, etc. A bit of a shocker for people travelling from western Canada and California.
Also of note, is that while there are pictures of a great fireplace, you are not allowed to have a fire.
Lastly, the TV only has 4 or 5 channels and they are not great. A suggestion from our party is that the host install a smart TV so that you can at least watch Netflix or other streaming services.

Our family has changed in that one son and daughter-in-law lives in Ottawa, one son lives outside Philadelphia, and we are currently just north of Cincinnati. The location was almost equidistance for all of us. We loved the location on the lake and spent hours watching the view. The town of Crystal Beach was great and we even spent some time in Niagra Falls. Plan on coming back next year.

This house has a beautiful location on a quiet street overlooking the lake. The screened in porch was very nice and relaxing. The house was a bit outdated and could use some cleaning but overall nice.

Lovely cottage beside water, very well equipped.

Everyone loved the sunroom and used it 90% of the time that we were there.
Large rooms are nice with an added bonus of large sitting areas inside and out.
We did find that the wood floor creaks when you walk.
Otherwise great place to stay, everyone loved it.

My family and I had an amazing week at this cottage. It’s a 5 min drive from the beach area (it’s close enough to walk as well). The cottage was super clean, well maintained, good internet (which was super as we have 3 teens) and the view from the front porch was my favorite spot for my morning coffee! There are a ton of windows with natural beautiful lights and great views of the lake. The cottage is equipped with everything you need to cook, they also have a washer and dryer which came in handy. Terrific little spot and I will be booking again for sure! The only down side ( not even related to the cottage) were the black flies so bring lots of bug spray ;)

The property is more of a country home than a cottage. The view is beautiful. Fishing is good. Beaches are nice. Water is crystal clear. Bedrooms are all a good size. There is lots of space to be comfortable in this property. Water is municipal plumbing, not septic which is a bonus.
We loved the area so much, we reached out to a local agent to look at a few properties in the area to explore the possibilities.

Absolutely beautiful setting. Cottage is clean, with beautiful wood throughout. Actually bigger than pictures portray. Kitchen is equipped with all you would need. Would definitely rent again!

The owner Teri is very kind, generous and responsive.
Overall, it is a great vacation for us.

Needed a place to stay for a family wedding. This house was in the perfect spot. Walking distance to the Chapel and close to other family members. Loved watching the sun come up over the water from the couch! Wish we had more time to spend there. House was well equipped with just about everything you would need.

Beautiful view
This is a beautiful location with a wonderful view of the lake and the sunrise. Great summer vacation spot.

Great location
The location was amazing. Overall this was good but in need of some updating. It was a little like going to Grandma’s house. Kitchen has almost everything you need (except baking pans like for brownies or cake) and low water pressure. There was a bit more traffic than I expected but nothing crazy. Lots of birds and geese visited daily and it was nice to sit on the screened in porch. I would stay here again - the location really sells it.

We utilized the refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, washer and dryer and all were in great working order. The house is located a short drive from Fort Erie, where there were several options for groceries and supplies for our five day stay. We didn’t use the screened in porch because of the cool weather but I’m sure it will get plenty of use in the summer. An affordable house for a family vacation!
