Beautiful place to stay for our family, central to all our needs, kids loved the beach across the road

The house had a stunning sea view and it was so lovely to sit in the lounge and enjoy!. It was really well supplied with everything needed. The bedrooms were well supplied, the beds comfy and the towels were lovely and thick. We also enjoyed looking through the free books at the front as a bonus and enjoyed interacting with the friendly neighbour.

There were 2 things that weren't so clear . The placement of the toilet.. the only toilet was accessed through the Bathroom facility ( unless you went outside through the dining room door and then back in through the wash-house), so made it a bit more difficult to manage with 5 adults sharing. Secondly, the close proximity of the rail crossing and the heavy logging trucks were initially was disappointing to find with the noise factor overnight, but we seemed to get used to it.

Nice location handy to Ahuriri Cafes and quick access to Napier. Road noise wasn’t that noticeable which was a pleasant surprise. Great heating for winter time.

The location has a beautiful view of the beach .... Easy to get to destination kids had an awesome time .... Highly recommended venue.

What a great spot right by the water and close to both town and good pubs.

Location. Sunny lounge and main bedroom. Great free books displayed on the footpath outside the property

Creaky floorboards in the hallway. No electric blankets on the beds especially as it was still winter. But heat pump in two bedrooms. Carpet in bedroom needed to be updated.

The location was very good. Close to all the amenities. The only surprise was how close to the port it was. The rains were a surprise at night but it was ok.

How the linen fee was not showing on the initial booking details but sent through on confirmation email under items not included and $28 per person seems extreme and I don't think it was transparent at the time of the booking.
