Food can be improved

The place is like a home away from home: cosy and pretty with unjal and chairs placed in different areas so you could sit with a cuppa tea and enjoy a nice chat. It's also wheelchair friendly so one can bring seniors here too. The location of this house is in the best area in chennai city and walking score is 100! We enjoyed taking long walks along boat club and madras club areas. The food served at breakfast is also quite good with lots of options. The staff are so helpful! The rooms are large and comfortable as also the bathroom. I would definitely visit Niketana again!

great guest house if you don’t want to stay in hotels. staff was extremely nice

The location is quite great and is in the heart of the city with easy access to many areas.

The staff was quite unhelpful overall I felt. I ordered vegetarian food and I was served non vegetarian food instead. My rooms were not cleaned and I was told I "had to ask" for the room to be cleaned. The same with even water in the rooms - apparently I had to ask for that as well.

Location Good Service bad Coffee was not hot enough, late delivery, Water was not coming early morning had to wake up the person to switch on the motor When we ring up reception all my calls went un answered

Located in one of the best residential areas of Chennai. calm and quiet. The Chennai traditional filter-coffee during breakfast.

Wi-fi was pathetic despite several complaints. Service was very average. Very limited choice in breakfast.

Very friendly Staffs, without any hesitation they helped when situation arise (Extended timing for checkout, helped by giving bike). Rooms are good for a short stay. Just backside of Germany Consulate.

the staff members were helpful and cordial but the only funny experience was the lack of availability of any food item. This is after confirming with the staff if they serve dinner. They even offered us a sandwich with just tomatoes and cheese. Swiggy came to rescue last moment.
