Our stay at Serenity Now was comfortable and peaceful. We wanted a relaxing get away and that's just what we had. The house is spacious with wonderful views. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck overlooking the Bay, bird watching and stargazing. There were five of us in the home with multiple devices and we had no connectivity issues. Once we were there, we did not want to leave. The property is secluded and you have to drive 20-30 minutes to reach a grocery, so be sure to double check the shopping list. There are three rather steep staircases (2 that enter the home, one inside) that could be difficult for those with limited mobility. The hosts were communicative, but not intrusive. When we had questions or concerns, they were prompty answered. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Nice getaway, very relaxing

A bit of a drive to Chincoteague but a lovely house, great view. We enjoyed our stay.

Hadn't been cleaned before we arrived. Hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in some time. Stained carpet. Broken ice maker, kitchen light and Wifi. Management offered to come clean the next day but we declined because the bathrooms and kitchen really had to be addressed when we got there so we cleaned it. Management finally agreed to credit us for the cleaning fee but we never received the reimbursement. Also they called mid week to have an appraiser come through because the house was to be sold....we declined but really???

We recently stayed in this property with our teenage kids. The location is fabulous, and the home is situated right on the bay - can't beat it. The house has a stunning view of the bay, with a lovely porch off the living room. We enjoyed the screened in porch for meals in the evening. The pier was wonderful for fishing, crabbing and paddleboarding and kayaking in the beautiful waterfront. The drive to the beach wasn't hard at all, and we loved having the option of both bay and ocean. The house overall was a little dated and could use some updates. The kitchen is nice and large for all our needs. It's a lovely , quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed using the pools at the clubhouse as well. Thanks for giving us a wonderful place to spend the week together this summer!

We found Serenity Now to be an inviting, wonderful place to stay. The views are wonderful and the property spacious. The master bedroom with its own little deck was fabulous. We were lucky enough to have scheduled during a time of rocket launch from Wallops Island and had the perfect viewing location, a real boon since COVID had the Visitor Center and Viewing Areas shut down. Other reviews addressed some of the furniture being dated and it's true. The couch and chairs were not the most comfortable, but our group did not spend much time there so it was okay. The beds were comfortable and clean. I could see us returning again and again except that between the time of booking and the time of our stay changes imposed by the HOA will exclude families of our size (7) from this house, a real shame since we all loved it so. The property management was responsive to calls about light bulbs that weren't working. They were great. No other problems to deal with.

Loved being on the water

The home is dated but comfortable. View is great, although no sunset views this time of year. Community amenities are great. Great for bike rides and some hidden gems of walking trails. Chincoteaque/Assateague State Park a short drive away. A must and then stop at Island Creamery for the BEST icecream!!

Excellent house and location. The house had everything we needed.

We stayed at this property for a wedding at Captain's Cove Marina. The house was clean and organized, making it easy for our group to settle in for the weekend. While some of the features could use some serious updates (couches), this property was a nice, convenient stay overall. The porch was a perfect spot for breakfast and happy hour, not to mention the best view!

The house and stay was amazing for a girls weekend! We were able to crab from the dock and the view was amazing. Short drive to the beach. Would definitely book a stay here again!

This was the most beautiful place to vacation. I loved the dock. The house was so beautiful other than the outdated dirty couch I didn’t sit on, it did and didn’t matter because I spent most of my time fishing and crabbing, but I had other family members that wanted to sit on it. I loved the dock and just sitting out enjoying the weather. I experienced the blood moon and NASA launch a rocket. I definitely will be back next year and then again and again, hopefully their will be a new couch. Best place ever. Location is key. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Lovely house in a great location. All questions prior to arrival were answered promptly. I had to no other reason to contact the owner after we got here. Everything was as advertised, everything worked just fine. Located in a quiet area, sitting on the deck enjoying the sound of the water and watching the sea birds and dolphins was blissful. Besides the nearby Marina restaurant, everything needed was within 25 minutes - supermarket, pharmacy etc., and all that Chincoteague Island has to offer. We also recommend the Dockside restaurant in Pocomoke City. Would we stay here again? Yes. Without doubt.

Overall, the place was great. The view is wonderful, layout of rooms worked well, and kitchen was well supplied. A few tweaks are needed as follows:Neither key in the box opened the front door, had to go around to the back.Light fixture over sink didn't work.Showerhead in upstairs bathroom needs to be replaced.New batteries needed for the remotes.Oven pilot light kept clicking at first, but then stopped and was OK thereafter.Dishwasher should be replaced. Very loud and was impossible to put large pots in.Again, these are little things. The place was cozy, nicely decorated, and we had a great time.

Great place to get away during COVID. The house is dated and needs a deep cleaning; but the view can’t be beat. I loved sitting on the porch, listening to the water, and reading. I needed a relaxing vacation and this was it. Great view of Wallops Island flight center, dolphins, eagles, deer, and of course seagulls, fish, and crabs.

This was just what our family needed. Plenty of time to relax and reconnect and plenty of space to do it. Our teens enjoyed crabbing off the dock & fishing during the day. Late afternoons were spent at Assateague. It was perfect! We will be back next year!

This house perfectly accommodated our 2 families and offered plenty of room for us to spread out. Being able to dock our boat at the pier in the back of the house was an added bonus. The view from the back upper deck was incredible. We enjoyed being able to take the boat out each day, lounging in the water, and crabbing. Our property manager was incredibly responsive throughout the booking process and during our stay. The house could definitely use some updating but it met our needs!

Views are great. Drive to the beach is easy. Huge kitchen!

Their kitchen equipment needs updated. When we're on vacation and the pots are old and you're scrubbing those old pots, it sucks so bad. Please fix the wifi. That was ridiculous.

Our family of five enjoyed our time at Serenity Cove. We saw the dolphins, and loved the views. The house is as described with the exception of the master suite having a queen bed, not a king. And the kitchen needs some attention. The lights over the sink were not working and the selection of pots and pans was limited.

We lost our summer rental this year, so I went hunting for an alternative. Serenity Now worked out well. We visited the beach several times during the week, and went on a boat tour. The views were great. We swam in the bay, but I prefered the ocean. Be prepared... this spot is quiet, but also 30 minutes from everything. Overall, I would recommend the vacation house for a quiet place to get away from it all. I felt very safe from Covid, which meant alot to me.

Location and views were spectacular. The accommodations were a little disappointing when compared to photos and description. House seemed older and could use updating. There were also issues with cleanliness, and amenities not all working properly (e.g., ant traps on kitchen counter, stains and food crumbs on couch, bedding older and faded, screen doors for sliding doors were off track/broken and laying on deck, fixtures older and rusty, no shower head in upstairs bathroom, water in upstairs tub and toilet was yellow, upstairs tub had what appeared to be melted ice cream on the side, freezer was covered in red sticky stuff. Also, the entrance to the house is up a narrow and steep set of stairs in the garage, made unloading quite difficult.

We enjoyed our stay at the house and had no issues.

Outside trash can was too full for us to use. We couldn’t store our trash properly. Also the dishwasher was completely full with dishes. We didn’t unload it. We just hand washed ours. We were mistaken by the checkout time. It was 11 and we thought it was noon. The home was awesome and beautiful. View is beautiful.

My Daughter in law, my grandchildren and I stayed at Serenity Now for three nights to get away from home during the Corona virus. We wanted a house where we could have the privacy of a home with a fishing and crabbing pier. The house was awesome and we had a fantastic time. We were only 20 minutes from the beach on Chincoteague island. We had a blast fishing, crabbing and going to the beach to hang out and see all of the ponies. When you text the owners with questions they get back to you very quickly. Would love to stay there again.
