We were visiting friends who live at St George’s right up the street and the location offered everything we needed. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. We especially loved the patio table and chairs. Hydrangeas in full bloom!

Great setup, location, and hospitality. The cottage was fantastic but the “felt like home” made the stay. Completely furnished to the “T”. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Very clean. Convenient to downtown Newport. Walkable to Easton’s beach and a few restaurants. Quick drive to 2nd beach. Nice outdoor space for kids. Appreciated that beach towels were available. Highly recommend!

This place was so great! Exactly as advertised, and consistent with the positive reviews previously provided. House was perfect, Sherri was very responsive, house was fully furnished and clean, location was excellent! Not having to travel with beach chairs/towels was a definite bonus. We even locked ourselves out, and Sherri was able to have her son let us in within ~10 minutes (THANK YOU!!!). Would absolutely stay again and would recommend to all looking for a nice beach vacation in Newport/Middletown 😊

Beautiful house. Perfect for our family of four. Nice neighborhood that was easy to get to first beach, restaurants, and stores by either walking or driving. Outside patio area was nice. Just enough grass so the boys could play soccer. Loved having use of the beach chairs and the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand! Thanks for a great stay!

Very clean, generously stocked (paper towels, napkins, soap, detergent, towels, etc.), and private cottage in the best location. Close to the best beaches in the Newport area and convenient to shopping and restaurants. Sherri is a terrific and responsive host. Perfect for our family of four. The side yard/patio and private parking area were also great to have for extra space for our kids. Can't say enough good things about this place. We will be back next summer! Thank you again!

We were very comfortable at Sherri's place. The kitchen had everything we needed and we had no issues with anything. You can walk to Flo's for great casual seafood and Easton's Beach is close by. Quiet residential neighborhood only minutes from Newport. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Sherry’s house for 3 nights over Memorial weekend. The house is very tastefully decorated, clean and very well stocked. We had everything we needed. Location was wonderful, walking distance to beach and restaurants and very short drive to downtown Newport. Sherry was very accommodating and super quick respond to our questions. Highly recommend.

Having a yard to come home to after a great Newport vacation day is a differentiator from our past experiences with hotels and Inns in the area. Walking distance to great spots like Flo's, Clementine's, & Easton's Beach in evening and short drive to downtown Newport or scenic cliff/ocean locations..Well furnished and appointed. Exceeded our already optimistic expectations.

We booked this property to attend a close family members wedding at the nearby Beach House in Middletown and the location couldn't have been better. We were able to walk to the wedding venue as well as the other rentals our family members booked in the area and let the car sit for a few days which is always nice. This unit is the back unit behind another of similar size, with parking right in front of the unit for 2 cars. The yard was a great feature and we enjoyed coffee with the local bunnies each morning. We were too busy to enjoy the bbq or games provided but both are nice features. Kitchen was well equipped and we were able to save some money by preparing breakfast and lunches at the home. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent location and short walk to beach and restaurants.
Clean and comfortable property. Well appointed. They thought of the small details which made the experience easy and enjoyable. Brand new BBQ grill, excellent cookware, and plenty of towels.
We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and Central Location!
My husband, and 17-year-old son, and I stayed at this property for three nights and had a wonderful time! The home is very comfortable with air-conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We enjoyed eating our meals on the outside patio surrounded by trees. The best part is that you can walk to Easton Beach (aka 1st Beach) as well as to restaurants and stores along the main road. Highly recommend! Hope to return next summer!

July 9-12 Visit
My sister and I had a truly wonderful stay and loved the house. It was quiet and in a great location. Sherri was very responsive and even dropped off delicious french pastries one morning. I would definitely stay here again!

Such a great space to spend our vacation. The location was walking distance to everything you need, including the beach! The hosts were so accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a good one. Would definitely rent again :)))

Amazing girls weekend
This property was in the perfect location for a girls weekend with friends. Sherri was an incredible host. She was flexible, super responsive, and genuinely invested in ensuring we had a great stay. We walked today, the beach, and the cliff walk.
Sherri’s son lives next to the property and was very helpful and also offered us fresh tuna after going fishing which was incredible!
We had a great experience thanks to Sherri and her cottage. I hope to go back someday with other friends or family to enjoy the amazing location and homey cottage!

Perfect locatin near beach!
Sherris place was great! Close to the beach, and she had beach chairs that were helpful as well. There is a great Burger place (Mission) seafood place (Flos) and on the corner of the street as great place to buy beer and liquor. If you want to be next to the beach this is IDEAL. Also close to the Cliff Walk and about half hour walk into the city.

Beautiful Property and Exceptional Host
I was blown away by the coziness and cleanliness of the property. It was even better in person. The host was very responsive. My sister and I drove there in the middle of the night long distance for a wedding and she let us check in early. She was easy-going and made us feel so welcome. It was my first time in Newport and I hope to come back and stay again at this property.

It is a lovely separate cottage, two bedrooms, living room, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer (not mentioned in listing, probably should be). Very tastefully furnished. Owner very accessible to my little problems of working the lockbox and making coffee. Would stay nowhere else in the area should I come back

Clean and nicely decorated cottage in quiet neighborhood. Owners were helpful and gave us privacy.
Only wished beach chairs were in better condition and the bushes at backyard fence were not sheared super small - opening up a not so private patio space. Construction next door was underway outside our kitchen window by 7:30 AM. NOT to blame the owners.
