We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient to everything from the beaches to downtown Newport. The home was well-equipped, down to a first aid kit and beach towels. The beds were comfortable and extra pillows and blankets were available. The home was clean and everything worked well.

This property would have been perfect, but we were traveling with an infant and there was a strong paint smell when we arrived so we had to leave and find an alternative place to stay. Lisa was very responsive and though she noted the place had not been repainted for months there was a fresh paint can in the back room. I think perhaps her maintenance staff did a touch up somewhere. Lisa granted me a partial refund.

We have stayed in quite a few vacation rentals. This one is at the top of the list. Lisa's place is in the perfect spot, a perfect size, and a perfect setup insode the house for your Aquidneck Island getaway. The beach is right there, neighborhood is fantastic and low key... We loved our stay and will be back. Communication with the host was seamless, and we have yet to have a better VRBO experience than here. Thank you Lisa!

We were there to race sailboats in Newport. This location was perfect, being close to the venue but not costing an arm and a leg. After a slight snafu with clean towels the manager sent the housekeeper over immediately with clean towels. Quick response was much appreciated.

This cottage was perfect! It was a short walk to Easton’s Beach and the Cliff Walk, the neighborhood was quiet (with beautiful gardens in most yards) and the house was clean and had all the necessities. It was perfect!

Place is very cute. Great location, close to bars and restaurants. You can definitely walk to one beach but if you were bringing beach chairs, kids, etc it is a bit of a stretch. Walking to Second beach wouldn't be really safe (and that is the best beach around) - the walk is along a busy street with a pretty steep hill. Lisa answered all of my texts promptly and got right on the small issues we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family of four had an excellent stay here (so did our dog). The property is within walking distance of First Beach and the restaurants in the vicinity.

Location is good. House is old. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left after one due to allergic reaction to something in the house. Might have been cats Staying here before us and not cleaned well enough to get rid of the cat dander or could have been something else not sure.

very cute little cottage big enough for four people . Lisa was very quick at getting back to us. It was a good location and we enjoyed having bites to ride.

We had a wonderful stay. It was perfect for our family of 4. The street was very quite, and only a few minutes drive to the beach, the center of Newport, and the mansions. The beds were very comfortable for us. We all had plenty of room to spread out. We eat breakfast in, and even made a little dinner one night perfectly equipped kitchen. Hope to be able to stay here again in the future!

This cottage was just what I and my dog needed for rest and relaxation. Great neighborhood, easy access to eateries and shopping. Beaches are close by car.

The house was small and cute, exactly as described! The check in process was super smooth, and Lisa was available and communicative when we had one small issue with the front door lock. The house is a quiet easy 8-10 min walk to Eastons Beach and the center of Town for restaurants, ice cream, shops, playground etc. its on a very quiet street in a nice safe neighborhood, we are so happy with how the weekend went. Cozy cottage in a nice neighborhood located close to the beaches. Family of four with a dog spent three days during February break at the property. Communication with owner was easy and responses were fast. Parking was a plus as well, not something to take for granted in the Newport area. Close to stores and restaurants. I would recommend for a small group or family.

Our stay was exactly what we needed. The house was well equipped with what we needed for a short two night stay. We were also very close to Newport and Jamestown, the two places we needed to go most. The house was very clean. The radiators provided excellent heat on nights that got down to single digit temps. The owner responded to our inquiry about the property within the hour. This was helpful given our need for accommodations the very next day. It was a last minute trip that felt so much more organized because of how quickly Lisa replied and how nicely the house was out together.

I stayed over Christmas 2021 with my chocolate Lab after I had to cancel an overseas trip to visit family due to Covid surges. The house and location ticked the boxes for me - close enough to Newport but away from crowds especially in these times. House is very clean and comfortable and the heating worked great. It’s in a small, quiet neighborhood in Middletown which is just at the other end of “First Beach” in Newport. The nicer Second and Third beaches are close being on the Middletown side and you can actually hear the waves from the house. The owner was very responsive to questions. You can walk to local shops and a few restaurants in Middletown. Great little Italian Deli (Bottega Bocconi) and fantastic pizza at Aquidneck Piizeria and Bar. There is also a brewery but I didn’t go in because of the omicron surge. The only suggestion I would make to improve the house is to install blinds/curtains in the living room which has a lot of windows, so in the darkness of winter, it was a bit like being in a fish tank after dark. However, not a problem in the longer days of summer.

Everything was great ! Only thing was there was no check out information. We took the trash out but that was it ! Would definitely stay there again. Great location

Cute little cottage that was the perfect jumping off point to explore Newport/Bristol areas! Walkable to some restaurants and a brewery as well as a longer walk to the beach and beautiful Cliffwalk

Our stay was quite lovely in your cozy nicely decorated cottage. Had everything we could have needed and the neighborhood was a nice place to walk. Our small dog enjoyed it too as it is a very dog friendly place. Enjoyed the close proximity to the beach as well. Would definitely recommend! Thank you 😊

The house is in a perfect location for walking to beaches and restaurants and a short drive to downtown and ideal for a short stay with 1 to 2 people. If staying longer than a couple of days make sure to bring extra towels. No washer/dryer or dishwasher in the home.

We had a great time in Newport. The property is lovingly decorated and was immaculately clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great neighborhood, very sweet neighbor! We loved the close walk to the beach for the dog every day! Good location for exploring Newport, Bristol and Narraganset.
