the hosting and the amazing interior. close to the harbour
we had the wrong room but we can live with that but the room was not complete if you talk about a luxury room.

There was a problem with my initial booking so before arrival I was contacted about some changes. The communication was great and I received an upgrade! The room was amazing and the facilities were great. Staff was incredibly welcoming and helped me to find my way around.
For some reason the wifi in my room was not working, but it worked in the rest of the house so it as no problem to just relax in the common area a bit if I needed to be online.

The house is absolutely beautiful! Colin was so friendly and welcoming! Great location and perfect for large groups! Would definitely recommend!

Wow, the decor blew me away - just gorgeous. A beautiful, stylish house. The hosts also kindly left the essentials for breakfast. A lovely place to stay.
The shared bathroom was stylish and impeccably clean but if you chose a room without an ensuite then you might have to wait your turn to go to the toilet as it is in the bathroom. If you are a person of a certain age chose an ensuite as this might be a problem. Other than this caveat I have absolutely no complaints or things I didn't like.

Jazz House is one of best establishments we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we checked in both Colin and Connor made us feel at home.
We found the authentic jazz flair created a special ambience of an era of greats! We were very comfortable with our room and most appreciative of all the amenities that were at our disposal! Jazz House made our stay in Derry even more special than it was!

Beautiful hotel in period building, very artistically designed, musically themed. Very friendly staff. Central location. (A pub to match it is Sandinos.)

Clean, comfortable, quiet, stylish.
Not a criticism, but just be aware that it’s about a 15 minute walk to the city centre, and the hotel is on a steep hill! Breakfast available for an extra cost at their other property nearby; some basic breakfast cereals available onsite. Otherwise you’d probably want to walk into town for more food options.

The staff were very accommodating in regards to my stay with my son, who is on the spectrum, they went above & beyond!

This was a very cool place to stay! The Jazz house had a very awesome vibe. There are quite a few stairs to get to the rooms but the host was very kind and helped carry the luggage. There was cereal provided and nespresso coffee for the morning in the shared kitchen. The location is a short walk to the main downtown but up a very steep hill when you have to walk home. Very nice stay.
The location is on top of the hill so your end of the night walk home is up a very steep hill. The place provided cereal for the guests but no milk.
The room was quite warm and there is no fan or anything so hopefully you get a breeze. The neighbour was quite loud at night with people yelling and dogs barking but hopefully that was just because it was Friday night.

Really nice house. Host and cleaners where super friendly. Was able to washing there. Top room was a little warm but was manageable with fan the the host provided

I really like this property and was looking forward to my stay.
I have stayed between the Jazz house and the Art house 3 times maybe 4. Unfortunately i became very ill during the week and i rang on Wednesday but Colin said he could not accommodate my request to move my booking out. Very disappointed overall.

The jazz house is a unique, quirky, and very cosy place to stay. Conor our host was an excellent host not just showing around and given insightful information about the house but, also about Derry and its many bars, restaurants and vibrant night life. The only downside was we only had a one night stay in this beauty.
