We stayed at Beaumaris Beach Guest House for just one night, but the hosts, Stuart and Judy, were so inviting and friendly, it felt like we had known them for some time. The guesthouse is in a perfect location as we were making our way from Hobart and Freycinet and headed to The Gardens above St Helens the next day. Our specific room met all our needs, was very clean, and had a balcony overlooking their lovely flower garden with wallaby sightings during the evening. Judy is amazing in the kitchen and provided us a breakfast filled with homemade jams, cakes, breads, yogurt, dips, and spreads, all prepared with local ingredients. Upon our arrival Stuart stopped what he was doing and dedicated over an hour listening to our forward itinerary plans confirming some items and recommending other sights we hadn’t fully appreciated or considered. We were impressed by their knowledge of the entire island and not just their coastal area. We highly recommend Beaumaris Beach Guest House for anyone seeking lodging in this coastal region of Tasmania.

This is the best guest house that we’ve stayed in. Everything was beautifully presented. The rooms are lovely with little extras including Judy’s home made biscuits. The guest house is a short walk from a beautiful beach with wallabies coming to feed in the evening and a gorgeous sunrise in the morning. Judy and Stuart were perfect hosts and we loved their hospitality, including the wonderful dinner and breakfast they made for us, which had a focus on local produce.

Such a haven of peace, tranquillity and coziness. You are welcomed by Stuart and his family who will spare no efforts to make you feel home.....which they achieve in a matters of seconds. This is a plus place of absolute comfort with all amenities, little gifts and charming attention down to the home made cookies you'll find in your room. Dinner is a splendid affair which will also enable you to meet with other guests or enjoy privacy if you prefer. A versatile place to enjoy the best of Tasmania with incredible comfort and quietness oh and look for the wallabies in the garden (they come and eat by the verandah in the evening)

we should have booked for several nights as one is simply not enough to enjoy this beautiful home!

This place is absolutely great. It's just a short walk away from a stunning beach. The owners are exceptionnally nice. The food was amazing. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. 100% recommended.

The owners (Stuart and Judy) have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making this a very lovely place to stay. The rooms are well-appointed, the common areas are very welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. Local produce and artwork were tastefully displayed and were available for purchase if desired. Stuart was exceptionally helpful and provided great suggestions to help for the next leg of our journey and beyond. Breakfast was a lovely mix of homemade and local produce. We really enjoyed staying here and can highly recommend to anyone who wishes to break their trip down the east coast.
