Location, stuff, view

The decor and atmosphere were fantastic. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. The room was clean with a good view only matched by the amazing view from the restaurant. The included breakfasts were delicious with lots of choice and we never considered dining elsewhere for breakfast. Can't recommend enough a real highlight of our trip.

Not much not to like. I didn't find a hairdryer in the room but I think I probably didn't look hard enough.

My first room overlooked the road & was a bit noisy.

Views from room 7 were exceptional, wonderfully light and airy. Staff were very polite and friendly. Communal eating area had nice atmosphere and views. Breakfast burrito was outstanding and delicious. Pop up Mexican dinner was interesting and belonged in a fine dining restaurant

After a long drive to get to st. Ives, the location is on a busy narrow main road, next to a bus turning circle where stopping is banned. I.e. it's a pretty hostile location to be trying to figure out where to leave your vehicle. There was apparently two options for parking. Giving guests some clear advice and directions in advance of check in, and a simple map, would really help your guests experience. Staff seemed a touch indifferent to these challenges on arrival.

Great position overlooking the pretty harbour/bay

Room 5, described as (cosy) was in fact tiny. Should really be a single bed room. On 2nd floor of very steep stairs No storage space/wardrobe/chest of drawers. Under-the-bed draws were extremely difficult to open/close. No replenishment of loo rolls during 4 nights stay. Having said that we enjoyed the close proximity to the centre of St Ives town. The breakfasts were lovely and choice was varied. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming.

Lovely place! Amazing, attentive staff from the very start! Max especially was excellent :) Catered for my partners gluten free diet very well, room was gorgeous and location couldn't have been better 😍
