Lobby floors filthy. Checkin staff missing. Quality of room lacking. Hall way floor had glass and debris. Bath door handle loose. Pillow filthy. Toilet rocked. Charged for internet. Just an awful stay.

The location of the hotel is great for downtown and walkable to most places. The room was amazing and extremely comfortable and spacious with an incredible view of the city. It was really quiet and the staff were very approachable and friendly. The pool was great!

It would be nice to have breakfast included and more gluten free options available. The wifi was a bit patchy and the gym was quite limited.

The hotel is in a great location in the city centre, close to all the attractions, shops and subway stations. It's a modern hotel with all the facilities you need. All the staff were amazing and so friendly, and we particularly enjoyed interacting with the bar staff who were especially welcoming. The room was a great size with a huge bed and TV and the bathroom was spacious and had all the space you need.

The lighting in the bedroom was set up with electronic push buttons for different settings and we struggled with to find a way of selecting the right mode, unless it was all off or all on. Also the air con in the room was either quiet and freezing cold or alternated between a pleasant temperature and a really loud fan right over the bed. A more simple arrangement might have been better.

So we booked this hotel specifically for the wonderful pool. When we arrived on Friday evening, we found the pool looked like a porno movie site. We had no idea the pool was a site for a Pride gay convention gathering. We learned later that these folks were not even guests at the hotel and they took over the pool from paying family minded guests. I understand that your hotel probably made more profits at the expense of your hotel guests. I think you should have warned your guests what to expect….

There was no way we could use the pool with what was going on in there. To each his own, but I would never want to be close to that kind of behavior. What a disappointment in your hotel!

O hotel é muito bem localizado, no centro de Philadelphia e perto de diversas lojas e dos mais variados restaurantes. Os quartos são bem arrumados e os funcionários atenciosos e prestativos. Entre as diversas opções que pesquisamos em Philadelphia, esta certamente é a que tem o melhor custo-benefício.

O check-in foi um pouco demorado, mesmo eu tendo realizado previamente preenchendo todas as informações. O chuveiro saía pouca água, o que resultava em banhos demorados e muito tempo desperdiçado. O serviço de manobrista é muito demorado e extremamente caro.

Staff is not helpful, nor feeling home

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotels interior design is elegant and appealing. The room was spacious with a beautifu skyline view. The beds were very cosy. The outdoor pool was heated. Although we had warm sunny weather, it was great for swimming (especially in the morning).

The furniture (i. e. wardrobe) was of low quality. Some areas were not well maintained (i. e. lounge seats at the swimming pool). Wifi and breakfast were not included although the rate by night was comparetively high. The table, I was placed at for breakfast was not properly cleaned and showed stains. The employees although friendly seemed sometimes demotivated and lacked professional appearance. Compared to other hotels, the W hotel in Philadelphia misses plenty of "little" opportunities to make the customer's stay a true enjoyable experience.

I got doubled charged. Once by booking and then the hotel. The charges were 2 different prices, and wasn’t given a reasonable explanation.

I liked everything...what could have been improved on is more information on what the hotel has to offer...maybe a brochure that is kept in the room with all the highlights...we had no idea about the top of the building access...no breakfast was offered accept for Dolci, which you have to pay for...that could be emphasized that we do not offer "continental" or any type of free breakfast.

The staff was amazing upon check in . Ebony at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable not just with the hotel but with the restaurants in the area and things for my fiancé and I to do. Very pleasant demeanor.

Las vistas desde la habitación era sin duda lo mejor. El personal de el hotel era muy amable especialmente con mis perros. Me gusta los hoteles que son amigables con las mascotas.

No me gustó que el baño y el lavabo estuviesen separados. La habitación no estaba muy limpia teniendo en cuenta que es un W hotel. Desde que llegamos notamos la suciedad de la moqueta y runcones de la habitacion, la piscina era ahradable ya que el agua esta camiente, pero la mayoria de los dias el agua estaba sucia, vasos de planstico en el agua flotando y más cosas que no quiero mencionar. Pero sin duda lo peor de mi estancia fue sir a la calle, realmente no es agradable encontrarme en la puerta de el hotel tantas personas sin techo y totalmente gente con evidentes problemas de salud mentas, además de ser realmente peligroso. No me sentía seguro cada vez que salía a pasear a mi perro. Pero esto no es culpa de él hotel. En general philadelphia me a parecido peligroso. No tengo pensado volver hasta que la seguridad en las calles cambie.

From check-in to check out, it was a great stay. The facility was clean, the room was wonderful and the staff was knowledgeable and kind. My only regret is that I was only there for one night! I'd love to go back in the future.

The additional cost for valet seemed inappropriate when you're paying $500.00+ for a room per night. The bathroom wall was see through and didn't lock. I can see some people enjoying that but it wasn't my cup of tea.

They clean the rooms every 3 days, unless you request it. We requested it several times and we arrived at night and our rooms weren’t cleaned. We are very disappointed because we expected more service and cleanliness since it is a Marriott, we just got back from a trip in Europe and we stayed in Marriotts, and they cleaned our rooms everyday. Seems like they have the cleaning every 3 days policy, but they don’t have that announced and still charge high fees. The roomservice food was also very mediocre, we expected more from a Marriott.
