Excellent all the way around. Rich's communication was first rate and extremely accomodating. The house itself was in great condition and we really enjoyed it. Walk to the beach is very short and the beach itself was sparsely populated so we really had it to ourselves. I know there have been some comments on locking the front/back doors, but if you follow the instructions, it's quite easy to lock. One of the better VRBO's we've stayed at. Loved it!

The house is great and in a great location - easy walk to the beach with small children, quiet neighborhood, and a wonderful (uncrowded) section of the beach. The owner is excellent with communication and we would highly recommend to anyone, especially those who want to be an easy drive to the "action" of the seawall/pleasure pier/downtown areas while enjoying a quieter low-key beach experience.

We stayed with my 9 month old, 3 year old and mother in law. The house was a great location…the beach was just a few houses down the street and it was quiet and clean. The house itself was the perfect combo of vacation home cozy and hotel cleanse felt completely at home. We cooked at the house each day and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. If we make it back to Galveston, we’ll be looking up the blue pearl!

Rich was awesome the whole process and made sure we had whatever we could need. The house was fully stocked with whatever you could need! Short walk to the beach that was super uncrowded and clean. We would absolutely stay here again!

What an incredible place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the home was beautiful. Somethings that stand out were: 1) within 100yrds or so of the beach. The beach is far enough away from hustle and bustle of Galveston that the beach almost feels private. Despite being there during Memorial Day week, there were no crowds to contend with. 2) the house feels brand new throughout. There were ample toys for the kids to play with at the beach, a wagon to haul everything, and it was stocked with all the things we would need for a comfortable stay. 3) you are only 20 mins from all the touristy stuff. 4) the neighborhood felt safe 5) a shower downstairs to rinse off the sand which will still follow you everywhere for the rest of your life. LOL! 6) three balconies/decks for relaxing and very comfortable beds 7) games and streaming Netflix for entertainment 8) plenty of space. We had 4 adults and 3 children. We would definitely stay here again

The Blue Pearl was magical! This home created a beautiful meeting space for my family's summer day at the beach. The beds were comfortable , house was CLEAN, couch was cozy and host was UBER responsive. We WILL be back!

The Blue Pearl was an awesome beach house for our family vacation. My wife picked this house out of several options and we were not disappointed. The house was fully stocked with almost anything you could think of having for your trip. Rich was an awesome host and made sure we had everything we needed. Beach is a short walk down the road. We rented a golf cart to make it easier to haul kids back and forth. I would highly recommend renting this house!

This was our first time in Galveston area. We went down to attend the Supercross race in Houston but wanted to stay near beach. The location of house was about an hour from Houston. The location of rental prooert was great! Close to beach (2 min walk) & in quiet neighborhood yet a short drive to restaurants. Rich was very helpful & prompt in communicating.

We had a wonderful stay. Great location, comfortable rooms, amazing kitchen, overall beautiful home. Rich was a great host and reassured us with useful and accurate information regarding the possible threat of a tropical storm. Definitely will book another vacation trip here with my friends and family.

Had a 2 night stay here. Near a nice, quiet beach. Home is located on a street with direct access to the beach entrance. We used our segways to get there in 2 minutes, but you can walk to the beach and it would probably take about 5 -7 min. You walk through the neighborhood- no streets to cross. Nice and private. Home was very clean, modern and well decorated.

Cute property, exactly as described. Rich was an attentive host. Five minute walk to the beach and the house had a lot of beach equipment for use.
