Have stayed here several times and hope to come back. The Wooden House is very clean, cozy, uniquely designed/decorated and within walking distance of nearby restaurants, stores and great outdoor spots. Lovely hosts who truly want you to have a great experience/stay.

The owners absolutely made the best use of this space & every detail mattered to them. It was so nicely appointed, comfortable bed & pillows which is important to me as I have back problems, the sauna was awesome, everything was very cool looking & updated & you can tell they really thought out the space so well. Comfortable, inviting, great location, super clean, excellent property, we would stay again! - great shower pressure, neat hidden drain system - kitchen sink set up was very cool - sleeping under the ceiling windows with the big, beautiful tree outside felt like being in a tree house - decor & artwork were perfect for the space - appreciated they had coffee, tea, hot chocolate, breakfast bars, beer & sparkling flavored beverages in fridge, hair dryer, extra of all the little toiletry items you may forget & easy to find Really just perfection. Thank you for caring about your space & sharing!

Sleek, contemporary design and cozy place to stay. Such great attention to details like heated floors and the on site sauna. The location is fantastic and waking up to those skylights was magical!

Very nice place. Tons of areas to hang out and they did a great job putting it all together, feels homelike. Moccamaster coffee pot was awesome. Washer and dryer were convenient to have on site. Really enjoyed the stay.

We had a delightful stay in this eclectic cabin which combined the elements of a rustic cabin in the woods, modern and retro 70’s chic, and hugge. It was also great to experience a sauna in the morning, open the garage door to let in more light and fresh air, enjoy meals on the deck in the garden, and peer out at the tree branches above through the skylights above our bed. We also liked the very central location in the city, walking the neighborhood and down to the 13th street Hyde Park attractions, and easy access to Camels Back park. Although the kitchen is well equipped for meals, you’ll need to bring your own cooking spices, condiments, etc. Also one of the speakers was blown so the record player wasn’t an option, although there was an old cassette player with a large selection downstairs. The hosts/owners were lovely people who were very helpful and loaned us things we required that made our stay more enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property!

The Wooden House is a gem. Danielle and Derek are the best hosts-welcoming and so helpful with suggestions for what to do in the Boise area. The house has everything you could want, is immaculate and beautifully designed and decorated. Thanks for another perfect stay!!

The house is a perfect homebase for exploring Boise and the surrounding area. The thoughtfully designed space is cozy and charming with all the amenities provided. From the loft skylight to the early morning sauna session, we left feeling refreshed and renewed. And the hosts are super kind and helpful in sharing local recommendations- Thanks Derek and Danielle! We absolutely loved our stay. We had everything we needed and more. We loved waking up to the skylights every morning. The neighborhood was outstanding and loved our afternoon walks. Had a great time reminiscing old albums and thoroughly enjoyed the open concept of the garage. This was my first time ever in Boise and cant wait to come back and hopefully stay here again!

House is perfect for 1 or 2 people. Located in a great neighborhood. Kitchen is well stocked, nice living room/eating area and very comfortable bed in a spacious bedroom upstairs. There’s even a sauna! Danielle is welcoming and friendly. This was my 2nd time staying here and I will happily stay here again.

We Loved this property! The Location was Great, such a Beautiful neighborhood that was centrally located for the activities we went out to enjoy. The Wooden House was so quaint and Lovely. We enjoyed listening to some old cassette tapes (The Big Chill soundtrack was my personal favorite) the house had everything we needed and was tastefully decorated!

Absolutely everything anyone could want. Wonderful older well maintained and updated college neighborhood. Old-growth trees lining the sidewalks, perfect for an early morning or evening walk/run. Both the front porch or the back gated patio area were wonderful for morning coffee or evening drinks. Everything you need is provided from kitchen supplies to linens. You might even be lucky enough to have a visit from the owner’s Jack Russell, Vera, if you’re outside. She’ll definitely spy on you if she gets a chance :) The sauna and fire pit make a welcome reason to come back in the winter.

The Wooden House was truly perfect. It is adorable, comfortable, well thought out, immaculately cleaned, and in an ideal location. We enjoyed walking to Hyde Park, Camel’s Back Park, and 8th St. While at the house we loved opening the garage door and lounging in the indoor/outdoor living space. Everything was as listed and better. We can’t wait to come back!

The Wooden House exceeded our expectations. It is so thoughtfully designed and decorated and there were many special touches (like cold beer and seltzer, a great collection of albums and an old school stereo system) that made this the best VRBO we have stayed in. This property is amazing! Modern, chic, and cozy with a fun twist! Loved the layout, the outdoor seating area, and the neighborhood. My husband and I felt instantly relaxed when we arrived. We will certainly be staying here again should we return to Boise!
