It was very homely and had gorgeous veiws. Lots of space.

Having to move on !

Very spacious house...I love it. Large kitchen (with everything you need to cook), large dining room. large sitting area, terrace...really perfect (if you need space, the house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) The flowers (most of them orchids) in the house...maybe a small detail but it really makes the difference The very nice furniture The very friendly hosts (btw they also speak French), we got offered salad, eggs, oranges,... A Nespresso machine A large fridge with large freezer. A dishwasher (tablets offered). There is even a soda stream machine in the kitchen. And very quiet.

Hard to think of something but if I need to mention something here, it would be even more perfect if salt/pepper/oil was available to start cooking...but this is a only a very small thing, there is a Lidl supermarket open till 20:30 4km away where you find all this.

The beautiful countryside & views from our balcony. The area is quite & peaceful, with a lovely river beach nearby with paths to walk along the river. Our accommodation was very spacious and well equipped, we found it traditionally decorated & comfortable. Good free available WiFi.

TV could do with an update. My husband didn't like the mattress on the bed but I slept fine.

We had whole apartment for very good price, there was everything we needed. the view from the apartment is perfect. The hosts were kind to us. I wish we have spent more time there.

The stuff do not speak English, only French or Portuguese, which is really unfortunate. We had problem finding the place as the button on booking to navigate to property do not work and navigated us to different city - we spent 2 hours just searching for the apartment. When we called nobody was able to explain us how to get to the property as there was lack of English knowledge. We had little problem with wifi as it do not cover whole apartment.

Friendly hosts. They live on site so it is easy for arrival and departure organisation and to answer any questions. Good views from the terrace.

The guest accommodation is in a garage conversion but it could be finished to a much better standard which would create a more positive impression e.g. gaps between the door frames and the wall, pipes could be boxed in, sockets which do not work, light switches in weird places. The furniture and equipment all seemed very old as if it was downgraded from the main house to be used in the guest quarters. Drawers and cupboards were full but with almost too many items. It was quite dark inside. The entrance area smelled of mothballs. I could go on. Sadly, we were very disappointed with this accommodation. The couple who run it are lovely and friendly and helpful and the price is very low but we would not return.
