From the moment you walk in the front door, you felt totally relaxed, such a gorgeous home so well styled and had everything you needed, this was a first class getaway and the views, well they were absolutely amazing. There was nothing to fault, simply a stunning home and the attention to detail was impeccable, we all had a beautiful girls weekend away.

Loved The Tonic with it's beautiful views of the ocean, early morning sunrise and the sound of waves. We were a group of 6 adults and 5 children and the property had everything we needed for an extremely comfortable, homely and relaxing stay, enhanced by the tasteful yet warm and inviting decor. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

We had a wonderful long weekend celebrating my husbands 60th birthday with our 3 boys, their wives and our 4 grandchildren 8,3,2 & 7months old.
The Tonic honestly is the perfect property in a perfect location. We all felt right at home and very comfortable. They really have thought of everything to make your stay memorable. It was so relaxing sitting out on the deck listening to the waves crashing down onto the beach...aah...pure bliss. I'm already thinking I want to repeat this next year for my 60th!

We stayed at The Tonic for a family long weekend with my 3 siblings and their partners, my parents and two children (aged 2 and 5). The location was excellent, on the beach but with an elevated position providing privacy from beachgoers without limiting the 180 degree views! The house was very well appointed with luxurious linens and bathroom products. One of the instant gas hot water systems failed while we stayed and the communication with the hosts was excellent and they sent a gas fitter plumber around on a Sunday morning to repair it. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you for having us!

Exceptional property, with unsurpassed views. Every detail has been considered. Accommodation and finished to the highest standard, the Tonic is a luxurious and comfortable property. We had 3 couples and 5 teenagers fitting very comfortably. Cannot recommend highly enough.

My extended family had a lovely time staying at this beach front house. The place was newly renovated and tastefully decorated with great indoor and outdoor areas for the whole family and direct access to the beach. The host also offered early check-in and later check-out.

This is a first-class home. Tastefully decorated and furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. Bedding and linen were all quality. Although the table will accommodate 12 people there were only 8 chairs. I understand the owner is rectifying this. Would like to have seen a TV with the full range of streaming services so you could BYO logins. Likewise a Bluetooth connection to the superb audio system that is installed.
Would we stay there again ? Yes we would.

Every thing you would expect from such a property...first class. The only issue was the external speakers dont work, and the lights stopped working up stairs (fuse box locked)

Awesome Beach house
I stayed with a group of friends for the weekend. It rained the whole weekend, but the Kitchen, Lounge, and dining areas were big enough and sheltered enough to not make this an issue.
It was so nice to look out of the house and see/ hear the waves rolling in.
The house has great indoor and outdoor entertaining areas is fresh and clean and styled really well.

Exceptional holiday
The TONIC was not only in an excellent location but the house is exceptional. An extremely high quality home that came with everything we needed which made for a fantastic holiday. The grandparents could sit on the deck and watch grandkids play on the sand and swim in the ocean. Eating meals on the deck with the ocean right beside us added to that holiday feel. The only micro negative was the covered garage parking was only suitable for extremely small vehicles - otherwise plenty of street parking options. We hope to return and can highly recommend this holiday house and destination.
