Property manager was a communicator. Did a great job. Property was beautiful. Pool table was a big hit. Elevator was also a plus for some family members. Loved the house.

This property puts you in an ideal location for beach, biking, and fishing, and is close to the the charming town of Lewes. The house was spacious, well equipped and was a perfect fit for our family. We all had a great time.

Many aspects of this property were terrific: the location is perfect, it had plenty of space for a very large group, Carl was generally responsive and helpful, and instructions for getting there, rules, etc were laid out clearly and helpfully. There was an awesome collection of beach toys and chairs which made it a blast for our kids. There are a few aspects of the property that were lacking though. Zero bikes were functional. I will grant that there’s a disclaimer in the welcome book saying the bikes might not be operational, but there wasn’t even a bike pump in the garage and the bikes had clearly not been maintained for a long time. If the owner is not going to maintain the bikes, they should be thrown out. Many items in the home were in poor repair. The fridge door was broken (which Carl did alert us to prior to our stay) and when we got there I found a giant pool of water in the fridge that I had to clean up. Many dresser drawers in the kids rooms were falling apart. Half the billiard cues had their felt tips torn off. The wifi login information posted to VRBO was incorrect (the correct network/password info was in the welcome book) and it took a day for me to find the correct information. All in all, we did have a great time, but I would have expected that, given the rates we paid, the house could have been a bit more orderly.

Excellent location, one minute walk to beach. Bedroom set up very good. Kitchen Living Room and Game Room are great. Only issue - In all descriptions of property the master bedroom bed is listed as a queen. Turned out the bed is actually a King. (We did not bring a King sheet and had to get one after arriving)

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Very close to beach and town of Lewes.. Kitchen well equipped and Dining space more than ample I would recommend this property !!

Everyone had their own room, own bathroom, outdoor shower was great. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and yet large enough spaces to come together.

This house was perfect for our 2 families with 8 in total but could definitely accommodate more as we had plenty of room to spread out. Easy booking from beginning to end. Best community in Lewes. Pool and beach were never over crowded. Loved that the bike trails and Cape Hanalopen were right outside the community entrance. A walk on the pier completed our evenings. Be sure to grab a bucket and flashlight to take on the beach at sundown, the kids loved catching the ghost crabs that run along the beach. Overall great place!

Our three-generational family enjoyed this house for its spacious rooms on the main floor, well-equipped sunny kitchen, and two large master bedroom-size suites on the top floor. We found places to gather together for meals and games and also spots for quiet reading or naps! Very easy beach access. Our first time visiting the delightful town of Lewes - several good restaurants and small shops.

House was perfect for a big group with different age ranges. We had 10 people and had some extra beds and space to spare. House is right across from the beach which made things super easy. Morning walks on the beach and playing on the beach at sunset were highlights. House was very clean and spacious. We had an awesome week.

We had a family reunion with multiple generations and this house accommodated our group and all our needs. There was plenty of space in the house, very well equipped, and being right across the street from beach access was a big plus! We would definitely stay there again!

This was a family vacation with adult children. The house was very nice. Deck and grill were very nice and the large dining room table was appreciated. The property has an elevator which is nice for moving in and out. Beach is a very short walk (almost across the street). Kitchen was well equipped but, as with most vrbo’s) some of the pots and pans were warped. There are lots of beds but be aware that some of the smaller rooms are only accessible through another room (okay for families with young children). The location is very easy to get to anywhere on route one. It is about a mile walk in Cape Henlopen State Park. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great place the elevator made loading in and out much easier also it's a very short walk to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay here, house had everything we needed. We had 3 couples, 6 toddlers and 2 dogs stay here with plenty of room, house is very spacious. Proximity to the beach is great. Would definitely recommend.

House is very well set up for a family. Everything you will need from grill to beach toys. Outdoor shower is great! The only thing I would recommend is to bring mattress toppers as all the beds are a little hard and uncomfortable. I would definitely book this property again!

The house is perfectly situated in the Cape Shores neighborhood - right across the street from the path to the beach.

We had a wonderful family vacation in this beautiful house just steps away from the private beach and within walking distance to the pool. The house was fantastic with spacious rooms, well stocked kitchen and beautiful deck. It was definitely the best week of the summer!

The house has everything you could possibly want and it’s only a 2 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the beautiful community pool. The host has stocked everything you would need for the beach. Chairs, boards, sand toys for children. That was a pleasant surprise. Very large kitchen, dining room table that could easily fit 10. It’s perfect. Oh and as a plus, the house has an elevator, that I missed in the original listing, which makes lugging suitcases to the third floor and groceries to the second floor a much easier chore. I would definitely stay here again.

This location was perfectly nestled into a quaint little area and across the street from an entrance to the beach. The people in this neighborhood were kind and friendly. The house itself was perfect for guests of all ages and had a nice large dining room for family meals. It was clean and organized when we arrived! I would recommend to anyone!

We have been coming to Lewes to rent in the Cape Shores complex for several years now with 2 other families and this property was by far the nicest place we've stayed. Well equipped, clean and a ridiculously short walk to the bay. We enjoy biking in the state park and on the local rail trails and this location also checks that box. Quick jaunt into town for the best Margarita ever at Agave and we had an awesome adult only dinner, sorry kids, at The Harbour restaurant. Great house! Great trip! We've been doing this since the kids were in grade school, If our soon to be college bound kids are game next year, we'll be back to this house for sure! ♥️

This house is located in a neighborhood we have come to truly love for our 2 week family trip. It accommodated our large crowd well, with the variety of bunk beds, but one should be aware that a number of rooms have walkthroughs and less privacy. The location is perfect on the path to the beach and only 1 house off. It is rare to find a home that has a Dining Room and table that can accommodate the large crowd they host. That was a huge benefit. The game room was also a nice space to spread the family out. Although we did appreciate having the outdoor deck off the DR it was in need of a little TLC with the awning and the cushions. We would recommend the house and hope that the owner can address the items in the home in need of repair and TLC. Thanks for making another great stay in Lewes at Cape Shores!

This location is across the street from a private beach, can sleep multiple families, has a huge kitchen and a lot of living space. I would recommend for anyone looking to get away for a few days in a quiet, upscale neighborhood with private beach access.

This house is SO spacious and was perfect for our extended family of 9 adults and 3 toddlers age 2 and under. We each had our own bedroom (even the babies) and could spread out. Or, there is a huge dining table for board games, plus the pool table and foosball in the game room. We had cold, rainy weather for the first part of the week. But the size of the house allowed us to remain entertained, prepare and enjoy our meals. We are now fans of Lewes and prefer it over Rehoboth! The private beach was pure luxury once the weather cooperated.

Excellent location to relax and enjoy time with your family. House has convenient beach access (across the street!) , as well as a neighborhood pool and fishing pier. Lots of space to spread out.

As a 4-generation family of 8 adults and one baby, we totally enjoyed our stay at this Lewes beach house! The house is incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable with more than enough room for everyone. There are all kinds of nooks and crannies in the house. In addition to 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths (plus another couple of sleeping areas!), there are two living areas (a living room and an adjacent game room), a fully-stocked and modern kitchen, large dining room and a lovely outdoor deck with retractable awning. The location is perfect, right across the street from direct beach access. This made it so easy to go to the beach with a baby and elderly parents. The only negative was having to leave... we would definitely return!

We loved everything about this house! We were 10 adults and 7 young children and there was plenty of room for everyone! The house was much better than the pics show!!! Also, best part, literally seconds from the beach. Just walk out of the door, cross the quiet neighborhood street to the beach access. We had the BEST FAMILY VACATION EVER!!!
