Flowers in bloom throughout the yard. Watched a cardinal pair from the sun room grazing in the yard every morning. Mallard pair coasting by the wharf throughout the day. Drinking coffee on the wharf in the morning. Watching the breath-taking sunset while sitting in the rockers under the gazebo in the evening. This place is paradise. The owners thought of everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. Its super clean, and everything is in good condition. The place looks newly renovated. I will definitely be back here again.

Cypress Soul was a wonderful 11 day get away for us. We enjoyed the house, wharf and swim deck. Kitchen in sun room was the best. Kirk and Daisy were great hosts. Can’t wait to go back again.

This place was the perfect get-a-way for us. We absolutely have not one complaint. Very clean house; good communication; pier, sunroom, and outdoors provide all means for relaxation; house provides all means for cooking, etc. You just don’t wont to leave this place. Definitely a 5 rating!!

House has been beautifully remodeled and was super clean. There’s a big sunroom with a great view of the river. We spent most of our time in there. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had and was very kind. Great place!

Cypress Soul is a beautiful way to escape, relax and enjoy nature. The property is well-equipped with everything you need and the owner is very easy to work with. Our crew enjoyed the fishing and just being together in this lovely home on the river. Perfect week-end! The owner even went the extra mile to ship something to us that we left behind!! Thanks again!!

This was our second stay at Cypress Soul. We enjoyed getting to know the Ventress and New Roads areas during the winter. Kirk and Daisy’s home is extremely clean, very comfortable, and has every amenity you can imagine. Looking forward to our next trip there in March!

This property was a perfect place for a getaway! Everything we needed was available including groceries and restaurants that were nearby. Cleanest home we have ever stayed in! Will defintely recommend and will go back‼️

From start to finish, Kirk and Daisy were outstanding hosts. Their property inside and out was immaculate with everything our family needed and more for a weekend getaway. So many upgraded amenities throughout the entire house. The master bedroom/bath was beautiful. Sunroom with stove/grill and sitting area was also amazing. If we weren’t outside, we could easily keep an eye on the kids playing in the yard. The gazebo and fire pit was oh so amazing and everything we needed for the fir pit was supplied. We loved making s’mores. The lighted pier and deck with swings and chairs was the perfect spot for fishing and a morning cup of coffee. Can’t wait to book again soon. Thank you Kirk and Daisy for sharing your home away from home, we will be back.

Spectacular is the best way to describe my stay. I almost don’t want to give this review because it will only draw people to what is clearly my favorite vacation spot. Kirk (owner) was responsive, informative, and so very kind.

Kirk was super helpful before our stay sharing boat rental information. In 20+ years of visiting False River, I was finally able to go out on the water for the first time! And it did not disappoint! The house was very cute and nicely updated. The bedrooms were very comfortable and allowed our teenager, toddler and us all to have our separate spaces. Our toddler was too excited to stay in the bunk bed for the first time! 😁�. It was very peaceful and a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a few days. Thank you!

My family of four stayed at Cypress Soul for a quick getaway weekend. our experience was a 5-star delight. We had gorgeous views of False River as well as spectacular sunsets and sunrises. We enjoyed relaxing on the covered gazebo while drinking our morning coffee. Kirk and Daisy are the ultimate hosts. Every detail was considered to ensure a fabulous stay. It truly is a home away from home. House Notes: The house and outdoor spaces are very private. The beds are super comfy. The TV above the giant main bathroom tub was definitely a highlight. We loved all of the tech features in the rooms like remotely operated fans and lights, and all of the different hang out room options all of which are outfitted with TVs. Our son said it best: “This is the best camp since sliced bread.” We can’t wait to go back!!

Convenient location, updated amenities, superb cleanliness...what more can you ask for?? We loved every minute of our stay here and will certainly be back!
