We celebrated our daughters 25th birthday at Twin Cypress on False River. Emmett was a great host and readily available when needed. Beautiful house, great location, great views and great eats nearby. We ended our trip with a boat ride on the lake, loved by all. We will book again for sure. Thanks again Emmett.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the perfect place for my weekend get away! The pictures do not do the place any justice. The views are beautiful, beds are extremely comfortable, and the owner is very sweet and easy to communicate with. 10/10

Emmett was such a sweet owner to work with, gave us a recommendation of where to eat near by, Juerrus Restaurant, it was excellent food...Super nice staff!
There is nothing like walking out of your bedroom in the morning to the wall of windows view of the lake, WOW!
Very comfortable beds, seating, darling kitchen.

We loved staying at the Lake House! It was BR perfect spot to celebrate my son’s birthday and a quick drive from Baton Rouge. Emmett was a great host and the laid back check-in and our instructions set the vibe for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back!

Everything was good except a few small things- no additional toilet paper in master bathroom and only a small amount to begin with. Also no coffee maker first day and no coffee and measuring cups to bake with.
Numerous nails poking up on floors- very dangerous especially for my 2 grand babies who just started walking.
A lil disappointed about third bathroom being outside too. Overall good stay though! Plenty room but kitchen needs a few more items to make it complete!

Love this property, love experience with the host Emmett, and loved loved loved the boat ride he also provided. Everything was beautiful. We really enjoyed ourselves. We definitely be back.

Gorgeous view - gorgeous home. What a great time we had here over the weekend. And the lake water is cold as my teens can attest! We played cards in front of these beautiful windows. The beds were comfortable. I am rambling but it was wonderful.

This place was awesome... clean and comfortable. All amenities we could ask for. Plenty of room. Weather was bad so we didnt get to use the outdoor space much but WILL be back in spring or summer. Thanks !

We had a very quiet and relaxing weekend at Twin Cypress Lakehouse. Owner Mr. Emmett was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The Lakehouse is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others.

Family weekend getaway
This is an awesome place on False River! The views are breathtaking. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The owner even has a pontoon boat available for rent! We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The location is great. If you have kids that like to tube or kneeboard, this is the place to go. They also enjoy jumping off the deck into the water and just float around. Couldn't have asked for a better time. Hope to return in the future

Superb Vacation Spot
Loved the home - it had plenty of room and was gorgeous. The glass front windows provided a fantastic view of the beautiful lake. We spent a ton of time on the sun deck, jumping into the deep water. No fear of touching a muddy bottom! We had a great place to store our pontoon boat as well. The covered patio area under the home provides some nice shade. We even caught several catfish off the dock. We LOVED it. Thanks, Emmet.

Our stay at The Twin Cypress was just perfect. It was so peaceful, the main living area with the huge windows was so beautiful & the living area underneath with the porch swing and dock was so relaxing. Emmett was great and thought of all the details to make it an excellent stay. We will be back!

This was a beautiful getaway for our friends trip, we were 4 couples. We were able to unplug and relax. I even caught a nice Bass :-). It was nice being able to do Laundry before checking out. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensil and dishes. We were surprised that the 3rd bathroom is located outside of the house under the deck (we assumed it was inside the house) it got pretty cold so we shared the inside bathrooms. Overall it was a good trip and a beautiful location.
