Family friendly and relaxing stay at Drake on the Lake.

This home was very comfortable and close to restaurants in New Roads. If we come back would choose this home again.

The house was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. It was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The owner was responsive and helpful. The views of the lake were great and we enjoyed the dock and the back yard area with the fire pit and the nice grill. The location was convenient to several restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed our week and hope to return. Thank you Dean!

Beautiful VRBO rental. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the living areas were comfy and had plenty of seating for our group of eight long time friends. I would highly recommend “Drake on the Lake” to anyone wanting a getaway on the River!

We greatly enjoyed our stay, the home has very comfortable beds and nice furnishings including a nice kitchen and grill. The pier was able to accommodate our boat and the swing, furnishings and fans are great. Beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed from the fire pit and pier. The water depth at the pier didn’t allow the kids to jump off the pier but the kayak is there for anyone to use and was nice to have. The driveway accommodates multiple cars. The owner is very accommodating and helpful and we would definitely return.

The property is well maintained and there was plenty of space for our party. I would go again.

Drake on The Lake was everything in the listing, plus so much more! The beauty of the place is definitely exactly as the pictures represent, but the time spent on the covered wharf on the swing watching and listening to the birds and ducks was so relaxing! Dean Simon is also THE BEST property manager I’ve ever dealt with; so professional, prompt and friendly with answers to all questions!

We loved our time at Drake Lake. The entire house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The weather wasn’t great so we were content to stay indoors. Made memories and spent quality time with family!

The Drake on the Lake was absolutely beautiful! The layout of the house made it very comfortable having 11 of people there. The house was so clean and cozy, and the back porch was so big and nicely set up. We had a great stay!

The house was beautiful and spacious. Had everything we needed. Beautiful view and very relaxing. Dean was always available to answer questions. The only issue was the furniture on the dock/gazebo. It was full of spider webs and bird poop. I’d recommend that they check the deck before every rental.

Outstanding property Gorgeous

My Niece was getting married, so my Family decided to make it a family vacation. We couldn't have made a better choice on a place to stay. The house was absolutely Beautiful. The view from the back porch were stunning! The grand kids caught fish from the dock. Everyone we met were very friendly and our host was incredibly. I would definitely recommend this lake house to everyone. My family is already talking about doing this again next year. Thanks for all your help Dean! William D Yates Jr

Rented to celebrate my moms 70th birthday She was in heaven with all of her 3 kids, spouses and grandchildren under one roof! This place us amazing

The house was beautiful, very clean and so comfortable! There was plenty of towels, bedding and dishes for all guests. No need to spend your time washing clothes and dishes The owners really did a great job by providing YouTube videos to explain how to use different items around the house such as the alarm system, the television and the gas grill. Dean was an awesome host, answering immediately when I had a couple of questions. The fishing was awesome and the deck was big enough for several people to fish. I would highly recommend Drake on the Lake for your next family getaway!

Nicely designed house with comfortable and tasteful furnishings. Lovely porch and boathouse areas. Easy drive to new roads and st Francisville.

We enjoyed a very relaxing 10 days in this property. It had everything we needed.
